What type of cracks and where? Could you post a picture and be a bit more specific? Are they old minifigs or brand new ones? I've had some cracked minifigs, but these were mainly really old ones (20 + years) but never happened in new ones.

Some of my pirate minifigs have cracks in them too, I think it comes from not storing them properly. Now I store them in seperate boxes away from the bricks and since then no more cracks apperead.

But you should post a pic iof them indeed, so we can see what could be the reason for your cracks, and if they looks like my cracked minifigs or not...just an idea...

If you are in the habit of switching arms a lot and keep pulling out and putting in arms to the torso, it might weaken the plastic and crack it.

Lots of perfume in the air will make the plastic britle.

Really? Thats quite interesting. Not the fact, how you know that  I've notice some of my torso's cracking in the rear. You know the 'X' shape down the centre of the torso that keeps it together, two lines are forming on the back of the torsos that follow the lines inside the torso. I know thats confusing, thought i'd just share something.

Ah, a problem that I had with a space fig of mine. Do not worry, there is a very simple solution.

If done correctly, you can simply patch it up with Testors Cement for Plastic Models. It can be found at your local Micheals craft store or Hobby Shop.

Or visit Testors.com to buy it quick and easy.

Hope this helps,
