ptdapen Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Wait, Huh?! You do not understand what I am saying? If you want me to put it in a simple way, then here it is. Cassandra, tell us anything you know now before I cast the final vote.
Darth_Legois Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 You do not understand what I am saying? If you want me to put it in a simple way, then here it is. Cassandra, tell us anything you know now before I cast the final vote. I read it quickly atfirst...Now that i re-read it it made sense, I dont know why it didnt make sense the first time... And I think she wouldve claimed already if she wanted to realy save herself instead of repeating jiberish without proof. Also what time is it?
Dragonator Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 You do not understand what I am saying? If you want me to put it in a simple way, then here it is. Cassandra, tell us anything you know now before I cast the final vote. You may be indecisive, but once I have something clear in my head, I am not. I will cast the condemning vote. Vote: Cassandra (Bob the Construction Man) I certainly hope we are right, and have not fallen into some heretic trap. There is certainly less evidence against Cassandra than there was against Bernard, however I do feel that we are doing the right thing with what we know. There are a number of points of evidence counting against her, and she has not said anything much of any use that would persuade me otherwise. Ifwe are wrong, then may God have mercy on her sole, however I am, if not as confident as yesterday, still happy that we have made the right choice. Let us hope for the best, but of course, plan for the worst. Now that we have convicted Cassandra, we have one other matter still to consider, and that is Miguel. It is obvious he is going to try and kill someone tonight, the question is, who? If we follow the Inquisitors plan, then we should be able to at least confirm Miguel's allegiance. So, what do the rest of you think we should do about this situation?
Hinckley Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Now that we have convicted Cassandra, we have one other matter still to consider, and that is Miguel. It is obvious he is going to try and kill someone tonight, the question is, who? If we follow the Inquisitors plan, then we should be able to at least confirm Miguel's allegiance. So, what do the rest of you think we should do about this situation? I will not participate in this part of the plan as I do not trust him fully. It is his night action to take responsibility for. It's too easy for the witches to influence who we choose to kill and then we will never know where loyalties truly lie until it is too late... Cassandra/Bob the Construction Man: 10 votes Sabrina/??: 1 vote A decision has been reached...
Dragonator Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I will not participate in this part of the plan as I do not trust him fully. It is his night action to take responsibility for. It's too easy for the witches to influence who we choose to kill and then we will never know where loyalties truly lie until it is too late... You do make a good point Charles, and it brings up something I asked our Inquisitor a while ago; how are we going to find out his allegiance from who he kills? I would like this plan explained to me a bit more before we even think of trying to find someone for him to kill. To tell you the truth though, it does make me a bit nervous trying to tell a man who he should kill at night. I mean, it's murder after all. Still, I am quite happy to leave this up to him, and we can see what happens in the morning. Perhaps he knows something we don't and will get a witch tonight. It is still a little disconcerting that one of us is going to be attempting to kill someone tonight, and that he will probably be guessing. Ah well, I think we have done everything we can today. Let us head for our beds and see what the new day brings...
Hinckley Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 It is still a little disconcerting that one of us is going to be attempting to kill someone tonight, and that he will probably be guessing. Also, we all just condemned his wife to death...
Dragonator Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Also, we all just condemned his wife to death... You may recall that he himself voted for her as well, so things can't have been all that good between them recently. Personally, I think it's because of the fish tacos.
ptdapen Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Wait, hold on. I didn't come up with that plan. You're getting me confused with the Father. He said it very early in the day, I am sure. Irk, I had other plans on who to investigate. Oh and we forgot to tell him who to kill.. eh. But alas, yes, Cassandra should have defended herself earlier. I see no reason to continue the voting on her, so I'll just abstain from voting.

Anyway, in that case, I would like to put my question to the Father instead.

Lt. Col. Thok Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Hello! I'm finally posting in the thread. I am glad most of you came to your senses. I am innocent; I spend my time among the company of respectable people, and would not practice vile witchcraft.
Shadows Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Sorry I wasn't able to join in earlier but, though it may seem out of character, I was incredibly busy visiting the sick in another town and upon my return from the trip, I was exhausted. I am just now rising from a nap and trying to catch up on the events of the day. Ah yes, my apologies. Silly me. It's getting late, I am very tired after all these long talks. Anyway, in that case, I would like to put my question to the Father instead. I'm not sure I see the question for all the confusion, but I'll try... Almost everyone seemed to approve of the plan initially, but it did rely on our coming to a mutual decision. In reality, it would be no different than condemning Cassandra, as has been done today. We decide, someone dies. One isn't any more or less murderous than the other, except that when we agree as a group and take it to God, he seems to understand our purpose, to defeat the witches. I believe the same would be true here, assuming we had chosen wisely. If we had determined two likely suspects, we could have taken out a second one and tested the loyalties of our supposed loyal night killer, but reading back, I can't see anyone definite enough to do that with, so we should skip that idea. It does, however, leave us back to the question of Miguel's loyalties, but that isn't much of a departure from where we are with everyone else anyway. On that subject ... when I returned to the Church, I found a note that claims that Miguel purchased the scimitar and that the note writer 'involuntarily' purchased a rug and hat. That concerns me, given the nature of the only hat I recall seeing in the shop, as well as the claim of involuntary action, like one would see in demonic possession. I noticed other accusations and claims concerning the scimitar and wonder if all of these claims are coming from a single source, attempting to use these notes to confuse the matter. Would anyone have something to offer on this subject? That said, I am a humble Priest and can't be expected to count the number of votes cast and such, so instead I will: Unvote: Sabrina Vote: Cassandra / Bob the Construction Man / Dirty Bastard Baritone Bitch Witch (I hope... it seems a little light in the evidence department to me, but she was on my potential list). I would add that it is interesting to see how many husbands accuse their wives in this game ... of life. Makes one wonder.
MagPiesRUs Posted October 31, 2008 Author Posted October 31, 2008 The town had decided. Cassandra was to be burned at the stake. The town eagerly awaited her execution... Get your night actions in now. Day 4 will begin in two normal days.

Hinckley Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Good night citizens, heretics, and witches. Bye Bye Cassandra the unloved..... :skull: Good night Isabella. The short carriage will be around to pick you up for "special" school tomorrow.

Cya in Heaven if your not a witch...
ptdapen Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Well, Father Alexander, it seems both of us where told the same thing. But I will tell you that there where two hats, one normal one and one witch hat. No one bought the obvious witch items. However, I do not think Miguel bought the scimitar. Why would he need it if he bought the gunpowder, which he must do to use his musket? oh, and to you good sir, Miguel, please do not attack anyone tonight.
Hinckley Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Alexander, was the note left on the church door by Pigeon Messenger or by God?
MagPiesRUs Posted November 1, 2008 Author Posted November 1, 2008 The town of Azufre had been busy this day. They had decided to condemn Cassandra (Bob the Construction Man) to death... ... The builders of Azufre had been busy too. In just a day, they had constructed a new stone platform for witch burnings... Having worked up the audience, Inquisitor Fernando sentenced Cassandra to be burned at the stake, as all witches deserve... Inquisitor Fernando announced: "Cassandra is a Witch! The crowd cheered in delight. Once again a servant of the Devil had been cast back into the fiery hell from whence they came from. With that, the town returned to their houses for the night, awaiting another day of trick or treating witch hunting. Get your night actions in now. Day 4 will begin in... err... a day.
Hinckley Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Philip, why don't you paint a picture? It lasts longer, you freaking dog.
