I was thinking today about how much time I spend on Eurobricks. And I realised that I spend waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time here with upwards of four hours a day, sometimes even five! So I thought we could make a little prizeless competition just to see who spends the most time here and who is the biggest Eurobricks geek.

Come on... :classic:

What a nice way to ensure that I'll close this before it even became interesting.

thanks KimT , now I can vote :P

I spend around 3-5 hrs/ day on eurobricks while I'm looking for a job, I post a lot but recently I reduced my post-rate because I think I was "flooding" a little too much ^^

Well, perhaps I don't go very high in the time stakes, but I visit quite frequently throughout the day. I'd say it's seldom that I spend much more than 10-15 mins reading and replying to posts though. I guess it might add up, on some days especially.

Only fifteen minutes a day... I have other more important things in my life than looking and posting on EB.

Actually building and MOCing Lego itself or playing video games are good examples.

(I get the feeling one or two certain members who joined many months after me spend quite a while on here because they already almost have the rank of Count)

I feeling . . . abnormal. I only spend about 15 minutes to an hour here, but I have spent upwards of two hours here in a day, or gone weeks without visiting the site . . . My Lego time is usually more occupied with Brickfilms and MOC's, both of which I fail miserably in posting here. :cry_sad: I will get back to my building and filming now.

I don't dare to count hours, but I am fairly certain five hours would be an understatement...off course I combine EB with surfing other Lego sites (Classic-Pirates, Brickshelf, Bricklink, Lego.com,...) and sites of interest (eBay, Old Glory.uk, Napoleonic-guide.net,...)

Then again, I don't have a job at the time, and my studies have been put on hold till january for health reasons...so I have plenty of time :sweet: .

I just volunteered for some work on C-P and am working hard (sorry if I sound smuggy, just posting my intentions) to become an Academy teacher in the long run (if my skills prove worthy that is), so I will be making reviews as well which means I must rebuild some sets.

Also the PTV contest demands some attention (mainly the creative critics division appeals me, and asks a lot more time then one would think!).

So it looks like I will have plenty to do the coming weeks/months.

I voted 3 or more hours.

It might be slightly less than 3, but I definitely spend a lot of time on here, especially in the Reviewer's Academy and lately with the PtV contest, plus a lot of reading and waiting for new '09 set pics  .

I voted for 3+ hours as it sounds right. However, I browse various sites at the same time using tabs so it is hard to know. Depends how much action is going on in this site, too.

Tallied up, I'm on EB oh say 1:45 minutes or so depending, so I voted for an hour +, I'm not always posting or anything, I'm still pretty new around here, so I haven't quite made my place yet, probobly should work a little harder at that

Hm, basically 1-2 hours on wekkdays, and maybe three or four on days that I don't have school (meaning weekends, days off, and holidays).

Oh, come on! You spend way more time on this site than the poll demands. I take the Creative Critic option as a fun little activity to spread helpful advice around- you just post like a maniac so that you can get a Forbbiden Island and boost your post count! I voted for one of the smaller catergories (which I won't reveal yet- I'm still deciding whether or not it was the right choice) because my job is quite demanding, and I usually spend short amounts of time on the boards and post in interesting topics. Such as this one. Also, I visit various other sites such as the Brothers-Brick blog, Klocki, etc........ In short, my time is limited. :classic:

Edit: Fine, I voted for an hour or more. I was considering 15 minutes... but I do spend much time on this site.

It's the exact same here. Checking the top posters is always a shock! Some people have quite a bit of time.

I mainly read, which is why I don't show up on the top posters list. It's hard to tell because I often have two windows with around 5 tabs each, with various things of all sorts.

Voted for 3+ hours, rounding up.

I voted for more than an hour. I spend more time when the mafia games are active. I usually read the new posts and then will refresh a few times if it's an especially active time. I find the site amusing most of the time, but I usually don't comment. I hope to be able to be a bit more involved soon. :classic:

Around 3 hours. Pretty much any time when I don't have homework to do (or don't want to do it) or am building or shopping Lego.

...

I really need to get a life. :sceptic:
