Wingfire Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I just got this set from bricklink MISB and it has no bag and is mostly assembled. Is it supposed to be like this? Are all impulse sets like this? Thanks for reading. Quote
Guss Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 (edited) I bought this set some weeks ago, and it was on a plastic bag and was not assembled at all, but I had no extra parts (on such a small set, that's ok I think ^^ ) ., so I think yours were opened before Edited October 27, 2008 by Guss Quote
SupremeCommmanderGrievous Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Impulse sets are not supposed to come like this. were any pieces missing? Who was the seller? Quote
SWMAN Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 If there are not pieces missing, then I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. Probably an error by Lego. If there are, then contact the seller and Bricklink. Quote
Raven Brickroft Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Anyone can open a single flap and glue it back into place again. MISB my megablocks. That thing was opened. >:E Quote
castlestrike666 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I just don't think that someone would take the time to glue the flap, so it would look misb.. It can just be a mistake in his shop. If you cross a wrong box into your bricklink details, a 30 year old set can suddenly be a misb set If the set is complete, and if there aren't scratches and other damaging, I wouldn't take it too serious.. Nice wizard by the way! Quote
Skipper 24 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I think in some countries they may not use bags? Where was the seller from? Is there evidence to support it is from a country where lego impulse sets don't have bags? Quote
Pickerel Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I don't remember whether impulse sets are in bags, but they are certainly NOT partially built. Have you touched it? If not then you may find someone's finger prints! Someone would've had to open the box to build it, so it's not Mint In Sealed Box; I'd complain. Make sure you really bought an MISB set, you could have accidentally clicked on the wrong item. Hope you get this problem straight! Pickerel Quote
Bounty Hunter Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I know this may sound stupid but what does MISB? is it Missing Bricks or what. sorry If off topic just currious Quote
rriggs Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 I know this may sound stupid but what does MISB? is it Missing Bricks or what.sorry If off topic just currious MISB = *M*int *I*n *S*ealed *B*ox ie: As it left the factory and unopened. Generally (but not exclusively) used to describe sets that have not been opened but that are older than the current range. In this case, it does not sound like any kind of MISB set I've ever seen. I would query it with the seller (once you have double-checked what you actually clicked on ) Cheers Rog Quote
Are92 RoWar Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Don't be stupid. If it were MISB, then it would be glued. Of course, I only buy from stores but hey, not my problem. Sue the seller, or sell it disassembled and buy another one. There, problem solved. Quote
Wingfire Posted October 29, 2008 Author Posted October 29, 2008 Thanks for the help. It turns out that the seller accidentally shipped me his/her personal set. It's all being worked out. Are92 RoWar, the box was glued and I'm not stupid. Quote
