So have you chosen your answers? Feel free to say what you chose in the topic. And please, vote in all categories, I've noticed some only vote in 1 or 2. That's why None of the above was added.

Poll values reset due to wrong poll format.

Alright, lets see...

I am most excited about City, Bionicle, and Star Wars, and Pirates.

In terms of modding, Powerminers(if I even buy any), and Creator(if I even buy any).

If I get them then the MODs will be huge.

I am most excited about castle, but since it isn't even present on the poll I guess I won't be voting...

Sorry, I was using the frontpage. I'll fix it.

I am most excited for the Pirates line! I regret seling my old lego pirate sets as a kid, but now I have something to live for!!!! And as far as mods are concerned I will be modding power miners if i pick them up; particularly color wise because the color choice looks dreadful like Mars Mission.

I voted for Indy, Star Wars, Castle, and Pirates for the ones that I was most excited for, and just Star Wars for modding, and just a bit.

By the way, how did you make a poll when you are just a Vassal? Only knights and above have that ability. :sceptic:

I don't know. It said I could add 5 questions to a poll, with 40 answers to each. So I added 3, various numbers of questions... But story short, it gave me the option to.

Hello Bub166,

I don't understand the objective of this poll and topic. Could you clarify the exact purpose of this topic by indicating and editing it on the top of your first post. Saying an introduction such as "There isn't much to post here... Just vote. " do not add any value to the topic conversation, especially when the discussion objective is defined in an unclear manner...

In addition, to what JimButcher has mentioned. In Eurobricks, Knights and above has the ability to create polls. However, you are granted the poll power as a vassal due to the very fact, that this power was given to you for usage inside the Reviewers Academy, where you as a student makes use of the poll feature to practice your reviews assignment for evaluation. Abusing of polls are strictly not allowed in both public and academy forums. There is a reason why it's only available for a higher user group.

Take a look at Lesson 3, FAQs under Question 2 and 3 in the Reviewers Academy, where you find an offical explaination for the poll feature.

Thanks.

I don't quite understand what you want me to do..

And also, sorry. Do you want me to remove it?

Re-write your top post, and state clear and exact objective which you hope to derive from this discussion itself.

The second and third paragraph is an explaination on the polls features.

Definitly DEFINITLY most excited for Star Wars, looks like it is going to be a crazy awesome year for them. Following that is castle, we have only seen the Medieval Market village so far but that just looks...wow. Pirates looks good, not exactly my cup of tea though, I am sure I will pick some up at one point though. If I were to Mod anything it would be some of the Pirate villages to look more castle like, thats it though.

Ok, I think I've got it.

And again, sorry. I think I missed that part when reading the tutorial. Odd though, I read thouroughly. And basically, I just need to know if I need to remove the polls, remove the whole thing, or if its ok this one time. That's all.

After reading the introduction of this discussion, I begin to understand your objective clearly. There is no worries, and I am not intending to pull down this topic or poll itself. I want you to be aware that poll and discussion topic are supposed to work hand in hand, especially when the poll is divided into 3 structures.

I need to ask you something about the poll though. Are you intending to allow members to click multiple options for part 1, 2 and 3?

Untick the checkbox, so you will only allow the user to choose only one option.

--> Multiple choice question? (Allows users to select more than one choice)

1) ...what theme are you most excited for?

Since this question is asking "What themes excites you the most?" Meaning, the member can select multiple more than one option.

2) ...which do you plan on modding most?

Since this question is asking "Which themes do you want to mod first?" Meaning, the member can only select one option.

3) From what you chose on Question 2, how heavy will the mods be?

Since this question is asking "Based on question 2, what will be the scope of the modifcations be?" Meaning, the member can only select one option.

Fix the poll structure, and I will reset the entire poll values to reflect the correct results.

Furthermore, change the questions in bold or re-define it to a much better sentence structure.

Ok, thanks. I put multiple choice, because I assumed it meant you would be given choices rather than having to say them. >_<

I may not be new, but I wasn't active until two weeks ago.

Ok, I have finished the poll to what I thought you want.

I realised you are not familar with the poll feature and I am not intending to let this topic goes off track. That's why, I gave you some pointers on how to improve the quality of the topic itself. Everyone is learning, so is me and you. Don't worry about making mistakes, but remember to learn from it. :classic:

Poll values, reset. Previous votes add up to 22 will be void.

Now, everyone of you, please return to the topic.

As for me, I am excited of what is coming for 2009. I had chosen Castle which had got me excited, with the 10193 Medieval Market Village. Yes, that is the set I am looking forward to mod and built my own market village.

I am not a good moc builder, so I think will do slight modifications a little bit here and there. Likely, to build more market stalls.

This was actually I hard poll to choose :sceptic:

I'm probably excited about P.M. at the momement, probs because I just looked at them :thumbup:

Although I am probably excited about most of the equally :cry_happy:

I'll probably Mod SW first, mainly to make the BP's bigger, as I do

I'm very excited about Bionicle, best we have seen in years (Movie as well). I'll be modding the few Pirates sets I'll get to make them non-piratey if that makes sense? I'm quite excited about alot of other themes as well though, Power miners looks great for keeping my brother occupied (and keeping him from destroying my stuff) as well as the fold-out Racers. Liking the look of the RCs as well.

Castle definately.

There's a lot that can be done to that theme easily.

Not that I think it's bad, but I'd really like to improve the Troll Warship and the King's Castle for example.

Well, for me, it's a battle between Pirates and Star Wars. I voted Star Wars, but Pirates is right behind. Really, we haven't seen a NEW set for more than a decade if I remember. There were some in 2000, but they were all remakes. But I also love that AAT and Clone Battle Pack. And I voted that I would be modding Star Wars, though my reasons are still not really set. I said Just a bit, because of the front of the Shuttle (which I doubt I will be getting, but it's still cool) to put 2 seats in. The reason I'm still not firm on this is because it seems there is already room, which would be great. Now that I think of it though, I probably should have put Very little. Castle wasn't far away, and even though Market Village is awesome, 1 set just isn't enough to pull me in. But we'll see what happens. Plus, unfortunately, the only Castle set I have is The Knight, that small impulse toy. I wish I had more spare money to put into Lego. I have a good amount to build, but I never seem to have what I need. For instance, when building my Zero, (plane from WWII) I had to improvise. It was still good, but later modifications ruined it.

I'm most excited about Star Wars of course! I will get as many CW sets as possible, but I will have to wait and see how they turn out in order to determine whether I want to mod them or not. In fact, there is only one thing I am sure that I will mod: Once I get the small Bionicle sets Atakus and Metus, I will swap their hands with those of my Whenua and Kopaka! That's the whole reason why I'm getting those two sets - to update my favorite Toa so that they have real hands instead of mere ball joint sockets. You see, I always update those two so that they look good for my next BotBattle film! :sweet:

Right after that, I will mod the walker from the Clone BP so that it becomes a normal, one-seat AT-RT.

So, as you can see, my mods will only be minor.

I will also get some small sets from the new Pirates and Power Miners themes, but I don't think that I'll need to mod them since I'll be mostly buying them for parts.
