Ogre Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) Some truly impressive armies here! Wow. If Photobucket ever stops messing with me, I'll try to upload some pics of my FAR smaller forces. LOL *edit* Okay, let's give this a shot. Now, I don't have any decent shots of my classic castle stuff, or my Royal Knights, KKI, KKII, Ninjas, Vikings, etc. I never really planned on taking 'army photos', so these were just kind of 'thrown together' along the way. For the 'Kingdoms' stuff, I don't have the two large sets yet, hence no king, etc. In addition, here are some pics of a VERY old layout I did with some Royal Knights, Dragon Masters, Fright Knights and Forestmen. Please excuse the crappy pic quality as they are old Polaroids. Edited December 30, 2010 by Ogre Quote
Ogre Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Impressive, 'chongcheng'! Any plans on a diorama, or some such thing? Quote
DaleDVM Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 It has been a while since I have commented here. Some awesome armies and thanks to all who posted photos. 300 spartans are expensive looking, but 301 that is just over the top and I will not stand for it! Magnus I certainly hope there is a harry potter head in amongst Godrics troops?! I do love their color scheme. The forestmen with the armor are great. I actually have a matching unit of them. Chongcheng that is an oppressive number of crownies. I fear your other factions will be forced to live under the boot of crownie rule far into the future. I will have to post some pics soon. Unfortunatley I spend most of my time fixing my broken MOC for brickworld and not enough time messing with my armies. Quote
Niku Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Well here is my army on their castles. all 3 on my room all the lions 18 in total all the dragons 12 in total yes that is a king, they need some leadership all the hawks 10 in total a third faction to make things more interesting Greetings Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 My small contribution to this lovely thread: Enjoy. Quote
KimT Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Niiiice I am currently creating a Classic Castle army of my own which I hope to present in a few weeks. BTW: Great to have you back on the boards - I thought we'd lost you. Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) BTW: Great to have you back on the boards - I thought we'd lost you. Thanks. I had a minor melt down when Lego killed off the Exo-Force line, but I'm actually quite impressed by the 2010 Castle line, and lately I've been buying a few old school minifigs and bits for a landscape from Bricklink. Unfortunately it seems there's a lot of stickers of dubious origin being sold (as you might see in the photo), but I'm not a fanatic collector, so it doesn't bother me too much. Dazmundo Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 My parents brought my LEGO collection down to me at the weekend so I am just starting to sort out what I have. This is the first shot of my Castle Minifigs Anyone recognise this fig or what set he is from, I'm guessing an old one as his body has a sticker not printed! Cheers D Quote
Leg-godt Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 My parents brought my LEGO collection down to me at the weekend so I am just starting to sort out what I have. This is the first shot of my Castle Minifigs >snip< Forestmen! Do you have any plumes because they'd look much better with them. Quote
Haltiamieli Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 You have quite an envy-inspiring collection, Dazmundo! And they seem to be in quite a good shape too, considering their age. Anyone recognise this fig or what set he is from, I'm guessing an old one as his body has a sticker not printed! According to Bricklink this fella has appeared only in Town Square - Castle Scene -set of 1980. Quote
metalslime Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) Introducing my humble Army: Looking forward to expand my cavalry to 100 units, archers to 100 units and footmen to 200. Hope you enjoyed it! Edit: Flickr link to larger pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49468482@N05/sets/72157625746558647/with/5374271599/ Edited January 21, 2011 by metalslime Quote

Dazmundo Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Forestmen! Do you have any plumes because they'd look much better with them. Yeah all the plumes and weapons will be around somewhere, should get chance to find them this weekend as my wife and daughter are away You have quite an envy-inspiring collection, Dazmundo! And they seem to be in quite a good shape too, considering their age. According to Bricklink this fella has appeared only in Town Square - Castle Scene -set of 1980. That's the only place I could find it too but I'm sure I don't have that set and I only have one of the figs and there should be 4 with the Town square Cheers for the responses D Quote
Niku Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Humble my megablocks! Correct, a beatiful army, just like many others here I was wondering how to post images on the thread, it seems the method used was not good. Quote

ziljin Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) Amazing army, I am green with envy. My Ninja army is only like 20 strong with mostly Kais and Coles Edited June 10, 2011 by lego40k Quote
Donut Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Nice army, I wish I had gotten as many of those exclusive Ninja battle packs as you did. I your green ninjas. Quote
madoka Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I marvel at your patience in setting up all those figures by hand, rather than use that grey baseplate in the background. Quote
Big Cam Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Impressive army, with the collectable minifig ninja available, I had thought of starting a ninja army, but that still would have only been black ninjas, your collection is impressive due to the variety in colors. Quote
Niku Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I love it. So many great figures, I would love to see them on a diorama. An impressive number, yes sir. Just a thing to remark. Well when it comes to ninja the numbers arent everything you know even a small force can sabotage a large one. Oppss should not have say that. Be merciful of my men. Greetings. Quote
Niku Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) I forgot to ask, how many do you have? And also please upload a pic of the other army, Im very curious of what may be. Edited June 10, 2011 by Niku Quote
