Alfadas Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) Nice armies all of you! I will post them, when I get good pics of them. Here is my Viking/Barbarian army as an preview or something: I know it is not that big, but I like it! 20 normal warriors 8 woman warriors 1 king/warlord 2 bodyguards/officers 1 mage/spell caster. Itaria No Shintaku Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) Well, I have some armies too: In those pictures I represent a diorama in which there are 12 48x48 baseplates full of armies, with about 120 minifigures per baseplate. Plus I have much more that didn't fit. Actually my medieval army is about 1700/1800 minifigures + 10 dragons and various stuff. I can't really count them. Thanks for watching :) Edited December 13, 2013 by Itaria No Shintaku Quote
Alfadas Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 That are a lot of soldiers. According to brickset, I have 543 figs in total, about half of it is medieval (castle, vikings, lotr, the hobbit). You really have a nice collection of figs! Pics of my armies will be up this weekend! Quote

Vladimir_castle_armies Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Well, that battle scene just puts everything else to shame! And the barbarian regiment is a great idea too. Here is a little prototype of mine: Chrome Dragon Knight Prototype by Vladimir's_Castle_Armies, on Flickr Quote
Alfadas Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Chrome Knight! Awesome! It is a bit shiny though . Quote
Vladimir_castle_armies Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 He'll look a lot less shiny once I get some decals applied to that. Can't wait. Quote

Infernum Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Wow Jeroenna, great army! Makes me jealous, as I only have one castle/kingdoms set. Quote
Alfadas Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Thanks! But your MOCs are way better then mine, so we are equal again, right? Quote
Blazej_Holen Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Is that an imperial soldiers with bows and quivers???? edit: removed quote of multiple pictures. Quote
Alfadas Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 From the Pirates, yes. I figured that they look cool together, but unfortunately I didn't have helmets for them. Quote
Vladimir_castle_armies Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I decided to take a quick photo of some of my Falcon Knights: The Falcons by Vladimir's_Castle_Armies, on Flickr The Falcons by Vladimir's_Castle_Armies, on Flickr Quote

lord raphael Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 good work sheep eater your army is awesome Itaria No Shintaku and where did you get the from? Quote
Rogue Angel Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 My Elven Armies: I already posted these in the Guilds of Historica forum, but I figured they were appropriate here as well. Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 good work sheep eater your army is awesome Itaria No Shintaku and where did you get the from? Thanks Dragons are from the various sets produced, like the old fantasy era castle, the troll warship and the 2013 dragon mountain. I already posted these in the Guilds of Historica forum, but I figured they were appropriate here as well. I think for your drow army this head: would do better than a blank black head. It was on pab on s@h for a long time, that's where I got 50 of them, so you can still manage to find many around. Quote
Blazej_Holen Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 From the Pirates, yes. I figured that they look cool together, but unfortunately I didn't have helmets for them. Helmets for IS? This is crazy dont u think? IS and knigts and fantasy orc together with LOTR Uruks .. it looks really mesh up, like in the Lego Movie...I recomend you to dicard them from your army list... :) I decided to take a quick photo of some of my Falcon Knights: The Falcons by Vladimir's_Castle_Armies, on Flickr The Falcons by Vladimir's_Castle_Armies, on Flickr Where did you get the Falcon capes and Flags? Wardancer Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Due to Itarias picture, I feel the sudden urge to start collecting a skeleton army! Rogueang, I love your armies. It must have been painfil to paint all these ears! Quote
Rogue Angel Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Itaria, I considered that head, but I was not that happy with it. I'd rather go woth the blank black head until Lego releases an appropriate head (hopefully). I had to wait until this year to finally get the correct hairpieces, so I can wait a little while longer. Wardancer, I did not end up painting the ears. I thought long and hard about flesh vs yellow, and decided it wasn't prominent enough to matter. I would rather have all flesh or all yellow, but between the CMF and LotR, I was forced to use both. Quote
