Wow! That BW helmet looks awesome on your Viking figs Alfadas! Keep us updated when you paint the shields!

Thanks and will do! It will take a while, I am about to move to a different house, and my Lego will be stored away for a rather long time, so I don't know when I get the time to do that.

Impressive looking!

Thanks!

Here are my 2 ancient armies:

Greeks

Persians

I know these ancient armies aren't nearly as diverse as my Castle factions (as Castle is what I find more interesting), but I thought I'd share them with y'all nonetheless.

Thanks for all the positive feedback previously!

That old school army was before my time, so I never acquired any of them, but that is neat seeing them in such large quantities.

I should get together my old (crusaders, black knights, etc) and take a picture. That's the hard part.

My collection of knights is alot more... Modern than alot of the ones I've seen here. It's also very small.

The largest group that I have currently is my 2010 dragon knights with:

1 upper knight, 1 lower knight, 1 wizard, 2 crossbowmen, 1 longbow man, 2 heavy swordsmen, 1 Halberd wielder, 1 spearman, 1 torch holder(torch has a lense to make it spotlight ish), 1 assassin, and the troop's "secret weapon"; 1 musketeer.

So, despite being small, I've made it quite specialized, and thus it's a formidable force for small scale battles. The main function of these guys is to occupy a WIP fort about the size of a large grey baseplate.

The other guys are my "bad guys". Kind of a mixed bag of evil knights from fallen factions and creepy cultist guys wearing dark robes. There's not really an assigned role for any of them, aside from the guy with the Vladek helm being the commander.

main pic for them: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/garnira/Knights/099.jpg

Lastly, I threw a couple of blue lion knights in to the scene as well. These two were just going to burn down a barn or something of the like in dragon knight territory so they could go home to their friends and boast about their raiding skills. They decided to flee the scene when creepy guys in hoods started showing up, and with a dragon knight patrol right around the corner, it would have been a bad situation for the lion-crown guys had they stayed.

Here's the main gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=545500

There's a few more close ups of the battle scene there.

This isn't exactly a Castle army, but at the moment it's the closest I've got so thought I'd share it with you here.

This is my Roman Army.

Fantastic army. Very nice scene as well, great way to display a long column.

I have got to get a cornu from Brick Warriors for my Romans it looks great.

It's a link nobody but you can see. Try Flickr or any number of other image hosting sites; a link from your mail account won't work!

I have the pictures on my laptop but i can't past the url. idea where i can do this or do i have to post it on flickr first?

You have to put them on the internet first, like uploading them to Flickr or something. Can't share something directly off your laptop for reasons that should be obvious.

i didn't know you have to post them on flickr first.

i'm a bit of a noob when it comes to posting pictures.

Oh well thanks :)

Personally, I wouldn't create a Flickr account just to hotlink images to forum. There a plenty of free services like imgur that you can use to upload images without creating an account. They simply provide you with the URL after the upload and you're done.

You could create a flickr account to share future builds too. Almost everyone uses flickr, plus there are a lot of other great photos on there you can favorite/comment on. I have a lot of "inspiration" on flickr.

The frontpage has a tutorial on how to post pictures here.

true, if you're looking to be part of an image community or keep an archives of your pictures then create an account. I was just trying to offer the simplest method since he was attempting to link from an email attachment, so I'm assuming isn't the most tech savvy individual ;)
