Rayskull Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 (edited) I can't wait to get the parts for this one: I just finished this pic Edited November 9, 2008 by Rayskull Quote
strider406 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 That looks like a very nice spaceship. Quote
Dr. X Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I agree; that's pretty cool. It could use some work, but nice now anyways. Quote
Rayskull Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 it doesn't look like it, but I believe I used close to a hundred cheese wedges. It has engines hatches, comfortable cockpit, landing gear like the others of the line. I tried not to use any curves...mainly since they don't have any blue curvy shapes. Quote
Zorro Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Looks good, I also really like that info you posted in red, although I can barely read some of it... Those blue (missile pods?) are awesome, and so is the back of your Shadow Hammer! Quote
Guss Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 looks nice, that s the same design than your smallest ships, it ll really fit well with theses, soon You'll have a real skullship army ! Quote
xenologer Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Cool Reminds me very very much of the evil Robots from 'Descent'. Old videogame, ever played it? Quote
Rayskull Posted November 6, 2008 Author Posted November 6, 2008 CoolReminds me very very much of the evil Robots from 'Descent'. Old videogame, ever played it? I was curious about this, I played a little bit of descent, but its been a while I don't remember these enemies. How does everyone feel about ships without transparent canopies? My best Lego ship ever has no canopy. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RaySkull...rdefinitive.jpg Quote

You should post that in it's own topic. I don't think clear canopies are really nessassary as long is there is at least a viewscreen/computer screen on the inside. DSR Quote

If you look at the cross-section you'll see a blue matching computer screen. In my LDD creations, I try to omit all printed pieces. I instead use clear transparent nubs and 2 stud pieces on black, creates a computery look without the printed parts... and has sort of a true lego feel to it at the same time. Quote
