def Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I'm happy to join this forum! I love the modding being done here, I hope to inspire myself, as my collection gets bigger (about 10 Star Wars sets right now). I'm in Japan (from Canada), so the costs are outrageous and all my purchasing tends to be on Amazon or Yahoo auction (no E-Bay) cheers Quote

def Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 Welcome to Eurobricks! Did you just start to collect LEGO? Or your current location only have 10 Star Wars sets? I am sure Eurobricks will give you plenty of inspiration. Enjoy your stay with us. Actually, I was working at Toys R Us when the Star Wars sets came out 10 years ago, and got a bunch of those. Then I quit, and moved to Japan, leaving them in Canada. A few months ago, for whatever reason, I ordered the Y-Wing since it was on sale on Amazon Japan, plus the book the Lego Builders Guide, and since then, I've bought most of the 2007 and 2008 big sets I could find. I'm married with a bit spare cash, so I'm indulging in a way I couldn't afford to as a kid. I love these things, and it seems like I've just regained an old hobby. I've asked my parents to find those 10 year old sets and bring them with them when they visit at New Years, and I'll be able to double my collection all at once Anyway, thanks for the welcomes. I've been surfing Lego sites for the last 2 months, and this was the one that made me want to join. Wonderful Quote
