Oh but Gustavus, you are ever so wrong! We know who the assailant is, and the priest told him to do the action! But it is without good cause, since your son has been very suspicious in his actions. Potato messaging a lot of people, all mentioning different people as untrustworthy. But ah well, I suppose his alignment cannot be revealed by death. He's a paranoid knife owner.. quite sure.

Well then, time to stay up all night until God makes the sun rise. Hopefully my torturer will find useful information...

Yes, we know who the first assailant is; but we can not know for sure the time if it was Miguel. Is Miguel here? Well, no matter. We'll see his knife wound tommorow if this is true.

[OOC: Gahhh the attack of the pirate smilies!!!! :jollyroger::pir-oh::shark: ]

Consider this an official warning: it's not as if the OOC trend is bad enough of itself, but please understand that I will have no choice but to suspend your account if you use OOC to spam up this thread. And yes, I'm completely serious...but don't think that means I don't like you. ...awkward...

You know what, all you judgemental people, believe what you want. I don't care anymore. Right now I'm gonna worry about me. Apparently, I need to! I got scumbags (is that a word yet) attackin' me while I work in the field...performing my simple, human, peasantly duties.

How is it my fault that I work on a farm? Then I choose to travel on my own property with a perfectly visible cutlass, just in case some crazy lunatic decides to attack me, and then one does? If you are an innocent man Miguel, and it was you who attacked me, then I am not sorry. You attempted to take my life, therefore I have no qualms with taking yours!

And the big carrot isn't from witchcraft. With all the crap flying out of people's mouths in this town, I just used some of it as fertilizer!

Seems that Miguel, or someone, is sloppy. I suppose he could be the assassin who never succeeds or something.

Now, to think logically... if it was him, he was trying to do as asked, which would be a good sign, if it wasn't him, it would mean that someone else can kill in the night...

Annoying. Every time we could get an answer, every time we kill a witch, we still end up troubled by new issues.

Yes, it was me, guess there's no point in denying it, so at least we can be reasonably sure that no one else is capable of killing in the night. (if they are we should have noticed it by now) And yes, I did target Hernan because you asked me to.

Father Alexander, is this true? Why was my son targeted? I demand an explanation!

Father Alexander and Miguel's stories don't quite match up. Miguel says that the Father told him to target Hernan, but Alexander doesn't seem to know for sure whether Miguel was told to.

Your damn straight it's true. If you were paying more attention to your town and the problems it's experiencing, you'd already know that, as well as why. The bottom line is that your son has been telling tales and sending potato messages with conflicting information in them, trying to cause confusion and division amongst the good citizens of Azufre.

Being experienced in this game ... of life ... that can only give him one motive. Heresy. Now one must wonder if the apple falls far from the tree.

I see it does indeed run in the family.

First, I did not tell him to do anything, I suggested it, just as I made other suggestions. I do not have power over anyone but my own self-control. Everything else is in God's merciful hands.

Second, he chose to act upon it, which was not something I would have known in advance as I do not feel that the potato message is an appropriate way to conduct oneself in this game ... of life. I think it smacks of plotting and deception, but you'd have to ask your son about that, wouldn't you?

Third, isn't this day over? Why do we all seem to sit around and chat at night?
