XimenaPaulina Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Yep, it has nothing to do with SW LEGO. I don't even know what's the point of this topic?! Anyway, moving this to C&M for the meantime. EDIT: Merging this to the SW Topic. Quote

CF Mitch Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) RepublicCommando2RepublicCommando2RepublicCommando2 Y'know, there was a sequel to Republic Commando in planning once, it was actually called "Imperial Commando". I would love to play a game like that again. It was awesome. Though maybe another Republic Commando where you can play as another squad would be cool as well Thanks for the news, DarthSion. simonjedi Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 My idea RC sequel would be... You go back to rescue SEV(?) SAve him, Few more CW missions. Then during one mission you're fighting with a jedi. Order 66 happens and you get a choice. Kill the jedi and become a Imperial Commando or save him and become Mercenaries or something. Quote
RileyC Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 So no one but me is hoping for Battlefront 3 to use it? I mean, a RC2 would be great but from a sales perspective a BF3 would blow everything out of the water. But I honestly think sequels to BF and RC aren't gonna happen. Even though they were some of the greatest games LA made I think if they were going to they would've done it by now. Or Jedi Knight 4 anyone? Quote
DarthSion Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 It says unreal engine 3, its not just for pc, it is also used for phones, for all we know its some lame ifade game. It could be for a new Indi game Quote
DarthSion Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Got an email from LA saying may 4th all will be revealed, seems it is to do with the blu-ray releases. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Yeah, they're promoting it on the official site, too. Click the link to the page with the countdown timer, and the page title reads 'The Complete Saga'. I too assume this has to do with the Blu-Ray release of all six films. Quote
RileyC Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I too assume this has to do with the Blu-Ray release of all six films. I thought they were coming out later in the year? Or am I mistaken? Quote

simonjedi Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) No they're still coming out in September. I guess this is more of a 'look at the picture quality, look at the special features, look at the stupid changes we've made to IV, V, VI' type article. It COULD be Live Action TV news? Battlefront3Battlefront3Battlefront3Battlefront3Battlefront3Battlefront3Battlefront3Battlefront3 or Knights of the Old Rebublic 3. I'm suprised how little Star wars games we've got this generation. We had TFU 1/2, Lego Clone Star wars and some mediocre CW games. You'd think they'd do sequels to games that will sell (BF3 (PSP ones don't count because they're handheld.)) DarthSion Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I think you will find it is just a preview for the movies, not a release date, maybe what will be included in more detail. I'm surprised at least 2 people read KotoR when the old republic is being made which I thought was supposed to be KotoR3 just with a new name. Quote

CF Mitch Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) It takes place about 300 years after KotOR, I believe. So yeah, it's completely different from KotOR. It's an MMORPG as well, with a story element, which makes the story completely custom as well. LucasArts refers to it as "KotOR 3 up to 10", which sounds about right to me. But, DarthSion, what did you mean when you said "I'm surprised at least 2 people read KotOR"? Were you referring to comics, ooorr..? Regards, CF W Edited April 30, 2011 by CF WeaZZel Quote
Mr Man Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 It COULD be Live Action TV news? Or Star Wars: The Dark Times as I call it. If I was GL I would still make KOTOR 3 as TOR will have geared people up for it and it might bridge the gap of 300 years a bit. Plus people will buy a £30 PC game but may be unwilling to pay out of their ears for an online game. Quote

RileyC Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 I will get it. I only have the original trilogy on DVD so I dont really feel like Im buying them all again. The special features I think is probably worth the price of the whole box set. I love the artwork on the separate trilogies but the complete box set one seems a little strange. Shouldnt luke also be walking towards you to like show that they had the same journey? To me it looks like Luke was just stuck on tatooine or something. I do wonder if they will have brand new artwork for their singular blu rays too? Quote
DarthSion Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Don't forget the Special Features. I didn't but I know based on local pc forums I use if you quote too much you get banned as if you copy all the info posted even with a link it can be considered as plagiarism. I want the 9 disk, problem is us Aussies get screwed, the clone wars season 1 blu-ray brand new here was double the cost of the US, I hope its region free. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 I like the look of these, too. Even with the whiny kid front and center, I think I like the Complete Saga one the best. Quote
