I'm expecting a duel between Starkiller and Dark Apprentice :sweet:.

Oh yeah, that would be cool. What I really want is to be able to play some missions as Starkiller, and some as the Dark Apprentice. Then you could choose which to play as in the final duel. That would be freakin' EPIC! :cry_happy:

Correction: Vader will escape, killing lots and lots of Bothans in the process, who just happened to be spies, making Leia's line in RotJ somewhat credible, except in the wrong time period. Rahm Kota will fight the Dark Apprentice and be killed, while Proxy is destroyed and Juno fights Boba Fett and dies, thus making Starkiller not want to live anymore, so he kills himself. Then the Emperor will find out about the Dark Apprentice and kill him, then the Death Star will be tested on Kamino, and it all works out in the Empire's favor.

There, I pretty much summed up the only way TFU3 will be able to wrap up the storyline and still remain canonical.

Kamino was in, I mean IN, the New Jedi Order books. Look at this crap

Am I missing something? According to the list of sources, Kamino was mentioned in several Legacy of the Force books and other works set after Jedi, but never in the New Jedi Order series.

And please, let's try and use the word 'canonicity' more carefully. Someone should provide a working dictionary definition...

I don't even know what it means, it just seemed to fit in that sentence.

Anyway, I thought Darth R2-D2 was talking about the Legacy of the Force series when he said the New Jedi Order. Must have been my mistake, but then again, I've never heard of the New Jedi Order series.

My bad I did mean to say Legacy of the Force series. Take it easy. Be Happy.

I have not heard of them, But I have read all of the Jedi Academy Trilogy. The Jedi Academy trilogy is a trilogy of books set in the Star Wars galaxy. The series was written by author Kevin J. Anderson. The books are a part of the EU, and occur around seven years after the events of Return of the Jedi, in 11 ABY. The series tells Luke Skywalker's early attempts to rebuild the Jedi Order after the defeat of Palpatine.

Really good read. I would recommend them to anyone. Good read and plot.

I quite enjoyed those as well. Unfortunately, it appears that many consider the idea of a starfighter-sized superweapon capable of destroying an entire star system to be bad writing.

Unrelated:

Prequel bashing, a good laugh, or both... you decide.

Well, since we are OT anyway: I wonder if Lucas will make another TV serial, maybe not cartoonish and settled in the timeline of ep 4-6.

I heard that Lucas was looking to do some live action episodes of the Original Trilogy. Perhaps he wants to fill the gaps between the movies.

Just to correct, nowhere has it been confirmed that TCW will only run for 100 episodes. If that were true then this season would be the last, and production of Season 5 is already well underway.

Along with that, we can expect to see the animated Lego style minifigs continue into the future as well. Clone Wars sets are popular, especially among the target age group of the show, so there's really no reason to change them.

George Lucas was quoted to saying there will be at least 100 episodes. If there were to be exactly 100 episodes, there is the possibility of Season 5 being shorter since 4 seasons multiplied by 21 episodes each is 88. Next time check your math.

Ha Ha. Beat me to it.

Bad math aside, we must never forget Lucas will do anything with Star Wars as long as it continues to make him money. The CW will go on until every last drop of profit can be squeezed out of it.

Each season has had 22 episodes, not 21! Just saying. Sorrry (I'm just a math major :P)

Yeah sorry about that, that's what I calculated on 22 episodes not 21.

I don't know how TCW is doing with rating wise. If you take a look at the episodes, they are slowly maturing in a way. I think TCW is trying to mature with the kids that watched it since Season 1. TCW from what I have seen, has more deaths, talks about slavery/other sensitive issues, and is more intense compared to an episode in season 1.

Yes, hopefully before long the show will have rationing, war propaganda, civilian air raids, and other things showing that the Clone Wars actually had the impact it was supposed to have.

I'm serious. I've been pushing this point for quite some time now.

Might I ask why you feel any of the three things I mentioned wouldn't be suitable for a "kid's cartoon"?

Look at what's been shown so far and then look at your predictions? That is exactly how I'd like to see this done, but I don't see it happening. :sadnew:

Well they didn't in RotS so i don't see why'd they bother.

For the record, I agree with Fallenagel. I always like the idea of the terrorist/Sep cells in the Republic Commando novels, and I'd love to see something like that in TCW. They had an oppurtunity for some great stuff in Senate Murders, and failed. I'd like to see them make a better attempt.

Ok the wording you replied with threw me off. I thought you partially sarcastic.

The only buff I have with Star Wars movies and TCW is that there is not much of the "war" shown. If you look back, the battles would only be a minority of the movie/season. For a name like Star Wars, you'd expect a great deal of battles and conflicts. I found only the Dark Horse comics would actually show a good portion of the war in their issues.

In that case, I agree with you, fallenangel. So far, I have only felt that the Umbara series from Season 4 really shows the darker sides of war for the common soldier. You would think for a series like The Clone Wars, you'll see more of the "war", but episodes go off topic into irrelevant stories. But you must remember, George Lucas does not want to change his audience too fast. I see gradual changes in content to a more mature audience. I don't want to see clones going into battle and everyone makes it because thats not how battles play out. That's what I've seen for the good half of Season 1. War is not supposed to be glorified, its a horrible consequence of mankind.
