Fives Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 There were some cool episodes from the Clone Wars with bounty hunters. If there's going to be a movie involving them, I hope Ventress is in it. As much as I want more Ventress stories, I can't imagine her being cast in a live-action anything. Nika Futterman's performance in CW is so unique, I just can't see anyone else playing the character. Robianco Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 She could dub it? Just like Peter 'Denarian Saal' Serafinowicz did as Darth Maul Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Just like Peter 'Denarian Saal' Serafinowicz did as Darth Maul Or like David Ankrum did as Wedge Antilles. Edited November 27, 2014 by Jedi-Bendu Quote
Artanis I Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Slightly on this subject, I find it funny how Anakin's accent changed so dramatically from Episode I to II & then IV! Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Slightly on this subject, I find it funny how Anakin's accent changed so dramatically from Episode I to II & then IV! I always thought that. Who knew that a black cybernetic leather suit could give you a British accent! Quote
Mr Man Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Vader only has a English accent in VI (after he loses his helmet), Vader in III, IV, V, and most of VI has an American accent. What's weird is Wedges accent (American in IV, Mid Atlantic in V, and Scottish in VI). Quote

In ESB and ROTJ the voice of Denis Lawson (the scottish actor who plays him) is used, while in ANH he (Denis Lawson) is dubbed by american actor David Ankrum (I interviewed him back in 2010 and asked him: Did you voice Wedge Antilles for all three movies? No. Just Star Wars: A New Hope. I believe Denis Lawson worked on an American accent and it worked for the rest of the films.) Edited November 28, 2014 by Jedi-Bendu Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 ok....seen the trailer. Now that some rumors (Boyega being a stormie, the Excalibur lightsaber) are confirmed to be true....I'm fearing more rumors will be true (especially the one about Han getting killed by Luke). I most confess: I was way more excited when I saw the Episode I trailer. Quote
Mr Man Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 It must be an early cut, the effects seem to be really unfinished and the CGI looks a bit plastic. Also that 'sword' lightsabre is bloody pathetic, worse than the crappy effects of the 'Rebels' and OT ones. Why is it so thin . In ESB and ROTJ the voice of Denis Lawson (the scottish actor who plays him) is used, while in ANH he (Denis Lawson) is dubbed by american actor David Ankrum (I interviewed him back in 2010 and asked him: Yeah, for some reason Denis put on an American (or as close as he could) for ESB then gave up for ROTJ and the RS games. Fives Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I'm seriously surprised this hasn't been posted here yet! The Force Awakens teaser trailer! Feast your eyes on true awesomeness! Quote
The Legonater Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with the new lightsaber and droid and everything. Star Wars has always ran a little bit on the 'ridiculous' side, and these elements totally fit in with what we've seen before. I love it. Quote

The design isn't even new - there are three other times times in the comics/books where there have been crossguard lightsabers with very similar design! It is a very good trailer. On first watch I was "ehh.." but I am really excited after watching it a few times. The X-Wings over the water is stunning. Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) What's Darth Maul's lightsaberhilt doing on Daisy 'Kira' Ridley's speeder? Edited November 28, 2014 by Jedi-Bendu Quote
Tariq j Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I've just seen the new trailer. I like the ball droid and new lightsaber Handel. Looking forward to seeing more. Quote
Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 (edited) Did anyone else see this? I'm on a trip so there a couple of things I find questionable that I haven't been able to verify. Edited November 28, 2014 by Sir_Basil_Ashton Quote

It's fake. The Mon Calamari is a deleted ROTJ scene. The line Ford is saying is from The Expendables 3, the shots with Chewie and R2+3PO are from the OT, there's a shot with R2 from the prequels Edited November 28, 2014 by Jedi-Bendu Quote
CMP Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 The new astromech looks impossibly dumb in my opinion, but I'm okay with the lightsaber design. Everything else looks awesome. Quote
AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Just seen the teaser trailer to TFA, and I have to admit that before the teaser was released I was less interested and sort of doubtful of how it would pan out of the new era of Star Wars. But seeing it makes me quite excited to see the film late next year. Does have that OT feel to it, with a bit of PT, but definitely Sequel Trilogy of course. Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Oh, wow........X-wings causing huge water sprays.....that's different but smegging AWESOME ! I guess over the coming months more little tit-bits of the film will come out and who is going to be the first to MOC that speeder bike ? Quote
Vindicare Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I loved it. I hear it's going to big screen debut with The Hobbit, guessing that's just US. So excited to see the Falcon again! I'm liking that new saber design too. Wonder who it belongs to?! Quote
CM4Sci Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (especially the one about Han getting killed by Luke). Great, now I'll have that stuck in the back of my head when I see the movie! -Sci Quote
Ultron Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 So excited for this movie! I can't believe people are complaining about the footage. They didn't have to show us anything. People can be so ungrateful. I think everything looks amazing so far. Quote
DarthBrickus Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 That Stormtrooper popping up felt more like the Start of "The Hangover 4" and that Lightsaber-Hilt seems a bit silly. I'm unsure about the little droid. Millenium Falcon and X-Wng Scenes were nice. I'm prepared to be disappointed, but mildly optimistic. Quote
