Robert8 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) I was actually hoping to see Jar Jar Binks showing up in the trailer saying MISA BACK!!! I wonder if we'll see some conections to Episodes I, II and III or if they'll be completly ignored. Edited April 19, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
Ultron Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Could you imagine what would happen if Jar Jar Binks suddenly appears and kills Han Solo by accident??? That would be the most hilariously disrespectful thing ever and I would probably get up from the theatre, drive to Abrams' house, kill him and then finish myself off Quote
Khaled Yousef Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Binks in the trailer would’ve given many people a heart attack, including myself. It would be even worse than that moment in Episode I when Qui-gon and Obi-wan attacked the battle droids to rescue the queen while she was being escorted to camp 4, and then Jar Jar jumps in front of the camera, looks at us and cries “hoohoo”? Every time I watch this I just want to grab him by the ears and smash his head against… never mind. Quote
Mr Man Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I might skip summer this year and just go straight to Christmas. Quote

Tarfful Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) Star Wars belongs to Disney now... and given Disney tradition of killing off beloved animal characters like Bambi's mother, Mufasa and Ray, I'm a little worried for Chewbacca. this post is just ridiculous. or rather your rational anyway, 'jus sayin'. I believe that Han 'nd Chewie stand a good chance of not making it through the next trilogy, but I think that that will have more to do with Harrison Ford's hatred for his character over anything else.. 'nd really, what's one without the other? It looks good but I expected to see more gameplay rather than another cinematic, it may be how it will look but what about the modes, the campaign, the multiplayer options, that is what it will really matters? I am worried that there may not be playable heroes, light sabre fights or space battles, for some reason I fear I will have to spend the rest of my life with BF2, at least I will not be microtransaction ed to the death. there is definitely not going to be space battles in the upcoming rendition, however hero classes will make a triumphant return. I'm moreso worried about the limited number of locations announced so far. 5 planets including the first free DLC of Jakku is not even close to being satisfactory. 'nd haha > < yeah.. tis a sad micro-transaction ruled world we find ourselves living in these days, but hey, what're ya gunna do? anywhat. hopefully actual in-game footage will be released soon!on a side note ~ FinalFeature, your LEGO-ised trailers are pretty darn spot on.. especially considering how quickly you're able to upload them. bossanova. |Tarfful Edited April 28, 2015 by Tarfful Quote
Slurpifier Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 The more I hear about Battlefront, the more angry I get. I, like many others are disappointed with what DICE are offering to us. I can suspect the main reason for a 'rushed' game is to get it out before The Force Awakens, which makes sense for marketing reasons. No Clone Wars or Space battles? Limited maps? Feels like a half finished game. Very disappointed, however, I must say that I am glad I didn't have too much 'uber' hype when the trailer came out, otherwise, I'd feel even more annoyyed! Quote

SW: Battlefront has been in development since mid-2013.. 'nd it's true the number of planets availabe to crush the Rebellionon is vastly limited (for meow anyway), but at least there will be multiple locations on each planet. I know a lot of the interweb has been bitching about the lack of inclusion of space battles or PT timeline, but honestly, the OT is Star Wars.. and the ability to have dogfights in an atmosphere setting like in BF1 more than makes up for the lack of space battle IMO. [i always found them to be a bit monotonous / boring anyway.. but hey, that's just me.] |Tarfful Edited April 29, 2015 by Tarfful Quote

I am with you, this game was what would have lured me to the next generation of consoles, but according to what has been anounced, this is absolutely not worth it, I dont mynd to much about the grafics, I care about the gameplay and the altrnate game modes, who told this guys that we only wanted to play onlyne, that sucks, no doubt BF2 will remain as the best SW game ever produced for a while (in my opinion of course). What to me, made Battlefront II one of the greatest Star Wars games of all time, was the Space Combat. By not having Space Combat in the new Battlefront, it really honestly cuts out a large portion of what Battlefront II, and makes the new Battlefront seen really inferior in that aspect. I agree with you that the OT is what Star Wars is; nothing else can ever top that. However, say from the aspect of a die hard PT fan (whom there are piles of people who prefer the PT against the OT, we can't defeat that fact) how would they feel if they couldn't play their favourite battles from the Clone Wars? Thats what makes Battlefront, in my opinion, recreating iconic battles and actually playing them, as if you are apart of it. Edited April 30, 2015 by Slurpifier Quote

No, but you can counter by saying there are millions of piles of people who prefer the OT in comparison and add in the fact that they're probably kind of being influenced by the way Disney is doing Star Wars...IE, focusing on the OT and the ST (sequel trilogy?) and leaving the PT for the most part in the past. The_Chosen_1 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Nope -- it's actually an OT-era Stormtrooper helmet painted black. The Aurebesh on the forehead reads "FEAR". https://scontent-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/11174472_10153342472585127_2244711821394921249_o.jpg Quote

Jedi-Bendu Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Aaaaaand....the name of Andy Serkis character in TFA is..... Supreme Leader Snoke. Yup, no joke, it's Snoke. I gave that bloke Snoke a poke because I wanted a smoke but instead I had a stroke and had to choke because it was coke. http://www.starwars....ovitz-exclusive Edited May 29, 2015 by Jedi-Bendu Quote
Fives Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 The fact that both the main villains in TFA have what seem to be real names makes me wonder: where is the Darth? It feels weird having no official Darths in the film. Its an important title. Perhaps its apparent non-presence in the film (as far as we know) is a sign that our new baddies are not true Sith? Or maybe Snoke and Kylo Ren are just aliases ala Sidious/Palpatine or Tyranus/Dooku, and the true Sith names of these mysterious figures will be revealed in time. Just interesting to think about.
