The people who want this to happen... The people who are supporting this... ...is only Hayden Christensen. Don't get me wrong. Being one who was not fully raised on the OT, Hayden was... okay. But in all honesty there is no way that this would work. At all. If it's a flashback, who's gonna have it? Everyone who knew Anakin during the prequel trilogy is dead. And I know of a certain demographic for these movies that would be royally ticked if Hayden was Anakin's Force Ghost. Quote

Well, old Anakin's force ghost actor has been dead for around two decades and it'd be a bit weird if Anakin was swapped out again. Force ghost seems the likeliest explanation. Quote

Fives Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 If Anakin were to appear as a ghost in Ep 8, it could mirror how Ben appeared to Luke and Yoda during Luke's training on Dagobah. This time around, Luke is Yoda, Anakin is Ben, and Rey is the one being trained. At least thats my hope, but they could do anything. Quote

Nom Carver Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Judging by what we can see on the current TFA sets, let my make some predictions regarding to the film: the millenium falcon is in the hands of thugs/smugglers/criminals and our heroes will have to steal it from them, thats why its so messy inside the new TIE (the special forces one) is some sort of prototype that will be reverse-engineered and is very important for the plot because it has been stolen the black x wing is going to be actually featured late in the movie and will be the product of reverse-engineering the TIE Rey's speeder is made with the former thruster of a pod racer Judging by the coloring of its arm (seems to be a trend on the first order), C3-PO may be in hands of the first order, and maybe Luke could be behind them (just like its father before him) These are just my thoughts and plot speculations based on what can be seen on the sets, thats why it doesn't need to be placed on a spoiler tags, I haven't seen any spoilers either but I am pretty sure that at least two of those will be true (they seem quite obvious to me). Being someone who has kept up with all spoilers and leaks, I think its interesting seeing other peoples curiosities about the film. Especially since I assume there is still a strong chance that everything leaked and spoiled thus far could be complete tripe and everyone is in for something new together. More on topic, I was wondering if anyone has yet tried using the Asajj Ventress waist cloak piece from '08 on the Kylo Ren minifig. I think if given a little cut down the middle to emulate the way that Kylo's robe interacts with his movements. Alas, I lack the figure myself simply because I can't justify the price. And the fact that I just bought the Black Series Force FX Kylo Ren lightsaber. But I digress... I have a strong feeling that we won't be seeing a new Luke minifig until the release for Episode 8. I doubt he'll show up in any TFA related sets between New Years and the release of Rogue One. I feel like they've given the movie to Han and Leia in terms of impact on story from the OT, with Chewie and hopefully R2 and 3P0 as well. It would be really nice and not entirely improbable that we'll have at least one of each character in upcoming TFA sets, and we've already got Han and Chewie, and 3P0 sorta. Quote

Seriously, this concept already got old in the OT and now they are doing it again? I hope I'm wrong, and I never thought I'd say this, but this movie looks too much like the OT. Looks like the speculation of his helmet being made using Vaders, at least partially, may be true. "finishing what you started"...could that mean that Ren is Luke's son? Who was the woman talking to Rey? That fight between Finn & Ren...oh my, that tease! Two more bloody months...I don't remember the last time I was this excited for a movie.
