Anyone else watched Droid Tales? It has some great bits of LEGO & SW fan humor in it. The best came in the most recent episode,

guys were building the Death Star, one holding a black 2x2, the other holding a manual. Manual holder said, "no, not black...dark grey"(basically). The brick holder said "they both look grey in the manual". Loved it.

I like we get extra shots of Keylo's crosssaber! I think I read somewhere the reason the blade looks like it does, is because it's unstable and basically homemade

There's a rumor going around about Finn's origin (HUGE SPOILER IF IT ENDS UP TRUE).

Finn is Lando Carlissian's son.

This rumor comes from an Amazon listing of a puzzle that states Finn as such. It's probably false as the vendor could put anything in the description, but it's an interesting theory nonetheless.

All lightsabers are homemade.

This. Ren's is not just home made, but also seems likely to have been built with zero guidance from a Sith Lord or Jedi Master.

Which kind of makes it more impressive that it works at all.

With the Sith seemingly vanquished (Though Jar Jar is still out there  ) and the only real Jedi in exile, who's supposed to help him make it?

I'm starting to wonder if the Ghost crew actually succeeds somehow in wiping out the Inquisitorious. There are several active Inquisitors trying to become the Grand Inquisitor around 4 BBY, but if they aren't active after the Battle of Endor, it would explain why Kylo Ren would have a red Lightsaber crystal yet no understanding of how to use a Lightsaber. Perhaps he found a dead Inquisitor and attempted to reverse engineer the Lightsaber.

Or maybe his Lightsaber takes the crystal from the Lightsaber of Darth Vader?

Perhaps the Inquisitors that could have potentially still been active by the Battle of Endor (lets face it, Sidious was not stupid enough to abandon having backup Force-sensitives) were rebranded by Snoke and named the Knights of Ren. The rules of this new order of Dark Side users may differ from the Master/Apprentice relationship of the past, and be more of a every person for themselves, survival of the fittest type thing. So potentially Kylo has never received any formal training, but is perhaps the most successful of a group who all serve under a new Supreme Leader. Then again, this is all purely speculation.

Lets just say that the idea that the Inquisitors could've somehow become the Knights of Ren isn't that far fetched an idea. If anyone remembers, back a year ago the first rumours of the plot stated that the villain of the film would be an Inquisitor or group of Inquisitors. That idea has obviously been abandoned to a certain extent from what we've seen now, but theres still a strong chance that aspects of that concept may exist in the film.

I think the remnants of the Inquisitorius morphing into the Knights of Ren after the dissolution of the Empire is one of the most likely explanations. However, did you see the Andy Serkis interview where he states that Snoke was not a part of the Galactic Civil War? Albeit, that was only his assumption, but still. It's important to note that not all of the Knights of Ren wield lightsabers, as seen in that one trailer. Are they all force sensitive, but no lightsabers? Does Kylo have a lightsaber because he is one of the most powerful? Does Kylo get one because he is an heir to a legacy? The

Skywalker

legacy?

Just speculatin'.

Everybody get their tickets for opening night? Getting close now.

Yes! Almost missed out when they first went on sale since sites kept crashing, but I got them for Thursday night at 7pm in IMAX! Can't wait!

Depending on how much I like the movie, I might go to see it at least once more while they keep showing it here. And I'll definitely get it on disc when that time comes.

Ooh, jealous of IMAX, I'm trying to talk a couple friends into going. Fingers crossed. I'm giving it a few days, going on the following Tuedsay, not keen on bigger crowds anymore...
