CM4Sci Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Why does C3PO have a red arm? Except for merchandising purposes... C-3PO is uncharacteristically quiet when it comes to discussing his salvaged arm; it is a memento of another droid's sacrifice Quote
HawkLord Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Chewie finally ripped his arm off for winning... Quote
Starrocks923 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Why does C3PO have a red arm? Except for merchandising purposes... If you don't want the exact answer, why do you ask for it? In any case, this comic will explain it: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars_Special:_C-3PO_1 Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 For anyone who is interested: Over the last 1,5 month I've done some new interviews for my website and the Dutch Star Wars site. Among the new interviews are Jason Fry (author), Bill Hargreaves (prop maker (IG-88!!!)), Stephen Costantino (Gamorrean Guard), John Mollo (OScar winning Costume designer), Keith Szarabajka (Cikatro Vizago in Rebels) and two men from The Force Awakens: Clem So (a resistance fighter) and the one that went online today: Andrew Jack. Mr. Jack played Major Ematt and was the dialogue coach for this movie (he coached Daisy Ridley and John Boyega). In case you're interested: http://www.starwarsinterviews.blogspot.com (and sorry for this shameless plug!) Quote

Jbricks Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 That moment when you realize Rouge One is a Star Wars prequel... :/ but I know it's in good hands, the production team will surely learn from Lucas's blunders of continuity and tone. Wow, imagine if those mini figures actually came in gold........ Quote
rollermonkey Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Phantom Limb Level Pack? Sounds like PS4 owners will learn more about Threepio's red arm. Quote
Jbricks Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Phantom Limb Level Pack? Sounds like PS4 owners will learn more about Threepio's red arm. Or maybe it will be the Force Ghost of Luke's severed hand, and level is the ghost hand guiding Maz Kanata through the underbelly of Cloud Coty to find Luke's light saber. You know what, maybe it's what you said. Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Where did those ears come from? Quote
Artanis I Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Yeah I don't see the family resemblance. Are we sure Han is the father? Or perhaps... Quote

Jedi-Bendu Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 In late january 2016 I had an interview with Mark Alec Rutter, who played a Stormtrooper in The Force Awakens. In this interview he went into GREAT detail about his Star Wars experiences. If you like Behind-the-scenes stories and want to know what it's like to be in a Star Wars movie you should continue reading... Mark Alec Rutter | Stormtrooper | Star Wars Quote

I read this, that's sad but at least she will be remembered for her part in one of the greatest film franchises of all time. Quote
HawkLord Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Laura Dern is cast for VIII. I'll call it now - Laura Dern with red hair = Mara Jade. Quote
Jbricks Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Laura Dern is cast for VIII. I'll call it now - Laura Dern with red hair = Mara Jade. Honestly they have no reason to use the name Mara Jade. Making a new character means that she wouldn't be confined to any EU storylines, which are nothing but fanfiction now. Quote
Forresto Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Honestly they have no reason to use the name Mara Jade. Making a new character means that she wouldn't be confined to any EU storylines, which are nothing but fanfiction now. They could though...if they really wanted to like Thrawn. Actually Thrawn is the perfect character for a really good writer who is lazy because he's a great villain that's already fleshed out and simply needs to be translated well onto screen. Quote
Artanis I Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 And everyone would complain that they don't live up to their expectations. Best to leave it alone Quote

Thrawn and Mara already have so much backstory built, the hype alone is worth it. Quote
