Junior Shark Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 (and there's a cool tiny LEGO bit in the interview) Aww snap! Can't wait! Quote
Jedi-Bendu Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Aww snap! Can't wait! Here's a scoop: It's an interview with Keith De'Winter; the man who performed Goss Toowers in TFA. I couldn't resist and asked him about the Goss Toowers LEGO minifig.....part of his reply was quite surprising! It will go online in week or so. Quote
Jbricks Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Hey, Rogue One may be the first Star Wars movie featuring an attack on a Death Star that /doesn't/ end with it exploding. Quote

xboxtravis7992 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Hey, Rogue One may be the first Star Wars movie featuring an attack on a Death Star that /doesn't/ end with it exploding. Hmm, maybe an argument could be made for the Star Tours rides though? They are both films... The first ride did have the Death Star explode; but the explosion was shown on a separate screen. Which arguably could count as a different film than the other one, despite both being in the same ride... Okay, I am definitely over thinking this :P Anyway that makes me more excited to see Rogue One. Yet arguably I am not as excited for Rogue One as I was for Episode 7, it just doesn't feel like it is being hyped as much. Even the news right now is focused on Episode 8 rumors and not on Rogue One. Quote
HawkLord Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Which I think helps to make Rogue One even more secret and interesting. Quote
Junior Shark Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 it just doesn't feel like it is being hyped as much Just wait until the first teaser or trailer drops. Then the hype machine's gonna go straight to 11. Quote

Jedi-Bendu Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Here it is: Keith De'WInter AKA Goss Toowers! And as said: there is briefly something about his LEGO minifig in the interview http://starwarsinterviews1.blogspot.com/2016/04/keith-dewinter-goss-toowers-star-wars.html Quote
Junior Shark Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Thanks for another great interview, Jedi-Bendu! If a Lego minifigure/action figure of me was released, you can be sure I would get them all! Quote
ChiefPie Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Erik Bauersfeld, 94, passed away who was the voice of Admiral Ackbar and Bib Fortuna. Very sad. Quote
Forresto Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Nooo thats unfortunate. 94 though, thats a long life hes lived and hes fortunate that his voice will be forever remembered through one of the most iconic characters and iconic lines in cinema history Quote
Junior Shark Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 So is anyone else purchasing The Force Awakens today? Quote
HawkLord Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 My wife got it for me on preorder. The Disney exclusive version with collectible lithographs. Quote
Junior Shark Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 My wife got it for me on preorder. The Disney exclusive version with collectible lithographs. Ooh you lucky. I'm just gonna grab the lame (in comparison) Target version during lunch. Quote
HawkLord Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I think the Target exclusive version does have two interviews. One with Daisy Ridley and one with John Boyega. Quote
CMP Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Already watched it once on Blu-ray today. Looks really great. Quote
Junior Shark Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Already watched it once on Blu-ray today. Looks really great. Me dos. Y'know, watching it at home almost makes it feel more like classic Star Wars to me. On the small screen is where I have done the majority of my Star Wars watching. Besides VII, I've only seen II and III in the theater. Quote
ChiefPie Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 My mom got me the pre order of the digital version thinking it was the DVD version. But with the digital pre order I got 3 posters which is cool. Quote

I've seen all of them in theaters during the original runs. Star Wars was the first movie I ever saw in theaters as a kid... And it wasn't even A New Hope yet. Quote

Star Wars was the first movie I ever saw in theaters as a kid... And it wasn't even A New Hope yet. I saw 4-6 on VHS as a kid, followed by a few of the Special Editions in theater. I remember seeing Episode I in 1999 as a kid, and I have seen every movie since then in theaters including the terrible 2008 The Clone Wars film (horrid movie, great TV show!) CMP Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Ahh, generational differences. The OT on VHS are my first movie memories in general. Same here. I've seen them so much from such an early age I couldn't possibly recall the firs time I watched them. Quote
