Tariq j Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Same here. I've seen them so much from such an early age I couldn't possibly recall the firs time I watched them. For me it was Return of the Jedi in Cinemas, those were the days.... With The Force Awakens out on DVD I'm willing to bet Lucas has already got himself a copy and his making changes as we speak Quote

Tariq j Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Undoubtedly squeezing in the Darth Vader 'nooo' somehow as Han falls off the bridge... Or making Rey and Finn twins. Ha ha, I can see it now: The Force Awakens: Lucas Special Edition: Temuera Morrison now voices all the stormtroopers Bala Tik is now replaced with CGI Jabba Kylo Ren's eyebrows digitally removed Added CGI Dewbacks on Jakku Force Ghost of Hayden Christensen now replaces burnt Darth Vader helmet And much more! Quote
CMP Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Temuera Morrison now voices all the stormtroopers Including Finn. Poorly CGI'd fly-by shots of alien/droid hijinks during the Nazi rally scene. Also, all the blasters in the Jakku massacre scene have been replaced with walkie talkies. Han has been digitally slowed down so that Chewbacca always shoots first in combat sequences. Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) Bwhahahaha! George: "These slavers have ruined my film! I will restore it to its glory!" Final Scene: Rey stands on cliff with lightsaber hilt extended towards Luke Skywalker. At the last moment Jar Jar Binks shows up and yells: "Meesa back!!" Edited April 6, 2016 by xboxtravis7992 Quote
CM4Sci Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) ROGUE ONE TRAILER TOMORROW Edited April 6, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
ChiefPie Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 New Rogue one teaser tomorrow! Can't wait! Also I'm a bit younger so I never saw the the originals in theater but I saw them through VHS and the funny thing is, is that I still have a VCR player and I watch the OGs by VHS. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) This movie is tied with doctor strange for my most anticipated film of the year :) There's so much potential in this movie. Edited April 7, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
Forresto Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) I wonder if it will be the same one that leaked a year ago? I sort've hope not for as good a trailer as that is, many have already seen it The new black stormtroopers look intimidating for sure! Edited April 7, 2016 by Forresto Quote
Savage Oppress Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Trailer! Expecting this trailer to be attached to Disney's The Jungle Book on April 15, 2016. if we are lucky we might get trailer 2 with Captain America: Civil War, if we are not lucky, trailer 2 will be with Alice Through The Looking Glass or Finding Dory Quote
Khscarymovie4 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 That trailer was amazing! Can't wait for the movie. Quote
Forresto Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 My only complaint is I'm not a fan of the way those AT-ATs look. Otherwise i'm excited! I was over the moon when they showed the crater dish being placed on the death star with the fleet of ships all around. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Looks pretty exciting. I love the use of the Star Destroyer alert sound--I know its Star Wars, but that gave me an Aliens vibe--nonetheless cool. There seems to be a good mix of new and old going on, which is great. Although after watching Force Awakens again a few days ago, and this trailer now, I'm surprised at how suddenly inept Stormtroopers became for three movies! I'm mostly interested in the new Imperial characters (for minifigures), so that new white suit officer is intriguing--granted I'm sure he'll be killed off, like most of these characters on account of never seeing them in the original trilogy. I hope we don't have to wait forever to see who Mads Mikkelsen plays, like with Marvel's Dr. Strange movie. I'm also interested in seeing more from Donnie Yen's staff wielding character--he really gives the Kanan vibe (considering the S2 end of Rebels). Quote
CMP Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I like it. It's thankfully a lot more Star Wars-looking than those set pictures from a few months ago, but it's still got a very distinct tone. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Who was bowing guy In the chamber? I didn't look like Vader, the shoulders weren't broad enough and I highly doubt it was the Emperor, cause who in creation would he be bowing too? Thoughts? Quote
Tariq j Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Who was bowing guy In the chamber? I didn't look like Vader, the shoulders weren't broad enough and I highly doubt it was the Emperor, cause who in creation would he be bowing too? Thoughts? There were Royal Guards in the room suggesting it could be the Emperor. Although.. It could be Mads playing Galen Marek But what was he bowing to? Because whatever it was didn't look like a hologram but more like a Bacta Tank. Quote
Artizan Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 just speculation here, maybe it is Darth Plagueis, aka Snoke, in the bacta tank, master of Darth Sidious, who is in hibernation, and it is really Emperor who bows maybe? Quote
EdWebhead Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I'm loving this!!! It has a very different feel from the main Star Wars movies, which I like as it gives it some unique-ness. Also I can't help but think that Jyn Erso is Rey's mother. They look and sound too much alike for it to be a coincidence. Let the hype begin! Quote
GallardoLU Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Jyn Erso is Rey's mother. They look and sound too much alike for it to be a coincidence. Jyn Erso has the same initials as Juno Eclipse, who I'd imagine had to rewrite her past after working with Galen. and this actress does resemble her as well. I don't think she will be Rey's mother though too many things are pointing to Rey as a skywalker for me to be swayed at this point. Quote
Junior Shark Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Let the set speculation begin! Let the hype begin! It's gone straight to 11! My only complaint is I'm not a fan of the way those AT-ATs look. Otherwise i'm excited! I know! How many versions of the AT-AT did the Empire go through before settling on the ESB version? I might be more excited for this than TFA, if only because it tickles my OT-loving side. And I'm reaaaallly gonna need all the new trooper types in minifigure form in bulk. That white-suited Imperial is a Grand Admiral, so if we get a minifigure of him we're one step closer to an accurate purist Thrawn. Quote
