Feedback would be great, and if you find one, be sure to tell me where so I can get uncle Jon on it x

The LEGO Store in Orlando is sold out of everything but the largest set, but there have been quite a few reports of TRU having various sets in stock. All you can really do is have him drop in and check a few, or call ahead and hope that someone will actually look.

If you're more specific about what city he is in, a member there might be able to provide more specific information.

Good luck!

I brought my Brickbeard's Bounty yesterday and finished building it, I added a lot "little" details to it, and will post picture later tonight.

I am wondering will Lego release anymore ships this year? Comments anyone?

Well, rumored summer setlists are already out, and there's no sign of a second Pirates wave. However, I think we can be assured that we'll see more sets in 2010, which I'm personally betting will include a ship for the Imperials. :pir-wink:

I think they will, beause last night when i went to TRU, there are only few pirate sets left. To me Lego are making big money on this series. I believe they will keep them coming, and will not be surpise to see another pirate ship.

ay can't wait! :pir-tongue:

I have a feeling that they will go down the same road as the old Pirate theme and release multiple Pirate and Imperial ships, big and small.

I think TLG has done an excellent job of mixing small, medium and large sets for the initial wave.

If you look at the original wave released in 1989, it's kind of similar to that. Some small Impulse type sets, a raft, a small island, a Pirate hideout, a large ship... there's a few less sets today but if the line sells well then I expect we'll see an expansion of the fleet.

My guess is that LEGO is testing the waters, so to speak, with a small starter series with each model hitting at the usual price points in order to get a sense of market demand, as opposed to AFOL demand. New lines carry a lot of cost and risk.

Be patient. I would think that the February toy conventions will unveil one or two new ships. And it wouldn't surprise me if they hit the shelves in August or July.

I totally agree with tacitus, they're testing ^^ if it sells well ( and I think it does! ) I 'm pretty sure we'll see more ship soon ^^

I don't think there's an official word on exactly when, but from my experience next year's sets usually turn up a little after Christmas.

Of course Toys R Us and LEGO Shop At Home have most of them already.

That is not true! None of the Toys R Us in Vancouver have them yet, I've been looking for them ever since the reviews came out on EB, apparently, Canada gets new LEGO much slower.

Good to now that another Vancouverite agrees with me on the fact that Canada is slow at receiving lego.

I do find that summer sets come in a couple days before official release.

Theres always shop at home for now.

hey at least you have metrotown mall to go to .On the island we have 1 of the worst TRU stores in canada . but hey nice to see two people from British columbia :pir-classic:

usually smaller areas get lego last but i did find the crystal skull sets pretty early at my local zellers.

The usa gets lego before canada because of shipping reasons im guessing.

after christmas is my best guess for when the new pirates will be on most shelves, it was about a week ago when we found pirate sets in stores anyways.

they will be here soon enough :pir-classic:

actually, the crystal skull sets were pretty late for me too, metrotown isn't the fastest toysrus in BC... the agents sets came out surprisingly early though, as did the batman 2008 ones.

I honestly didn't know there were other Canadians on EB. . . .

Alas,it is true that Canada gets Lego sets late.

BUT!There is hope!(At least for Edmontonians)So I have dreams about getting the new sets at the end of every Year(Last Year it was Antroz and Lewa Phantoka from Bionicle),but the boxe's always look nothing like the real ones(And all those times I got the sets Late). But this Time, the boxe's looked EXACTLY like the real ones! And I recognized the shelf!(superstore specifically)So don't lose hope fellow Canadians! There is hope! :pir-cry_happy:

I live in Europe and there's nothing to see here yet. I think the pirates sets will come out in Europe early Januari.

Although, we can buy them from Ebay but even the S@H and Toy's'Rus haven't any pirate sets. Of course Januari is coming close, but for me it can't go fast enough. :pir_laugh2:
