The second fig I'm sure is also Space Police, as it has the same "base" background and looks to be human.

Umm... That so called "human" is not wearing a shirt only has one eye and is riding a red and balck (evil colored) vehicle! I do not know about you but I have never seen a "human" go into space like that!

Or any carbon-based organism for that matter.

But hey, it's LEGO Space; it's never been realistic.

This new Space Police stuff isn't looking so great for me. I like the original colors and setup. The aliens may end up nice but I don't want car chases and gold heists. Who needs gold in space anyway?

I will have to wait for the final product to be revealed but unlike the new castle and pirate sets which I like, the little bit of SP3 I have seen fails to get me excited.

I guess I will have to be content with what I have of the old stuff and maybe pick up a few aliens.

Eh...the link attached in previous pages isn't working anymore...had to look over at brickshelf...

The officer and dog are both really sweet and neat!!! Both designs look terrific!!

However... :sceptic: It's just too city for my taste, and it's not that I don't like City sets (gosh, they're great!!), but I expected something more "galactic", not a futuristic Police subtheme...anyway I really love the design of that little set!! And of course, be waiting for better pics...

The Alien thing or whatever it is... :cry_sad: just doesn't make sense! It's like those awful and reaaally strange little bag-packed sets of the 90's themes (recalling space themes, some rock raiders, adventurers, aquazone... as far as I can recall some examples) which were just a bunch of pieces with no playability nor design at all...frustrating..

:cry_happy: Absolutely waiting for better pics

The Year of the Shirtless Minifig continues apace. Space villains manly chests are obviously impervious to cruel, cold vacuum.

Love that book cover, Asuka.

Just at the Brickshelf front page type "Space Police 2009" in the search, eh...option?? I don't know which is the word, hehe, sorry, not a dictionary.....

Anyway, the first of the pics features both impulse images, it's a catalogue-like pic...hope u find it, it's not that difficult...

Regards from Mexico! :classic:

Well, I understand your complaint, but I don't think this new "futuristic police" direction is at all bad... I think it's interesting, and if it's well executed, I'll definitely be hooked.

But for those of you hoping for a more "galactic" feel, look elsewhere- I think the direction of this theme is pretty clear now.

Hmm... if I look at sir dano´s (thanks  ) bigger pics... the grim look of the cop... that hoverbike thingy and the fancy helmet of

that cyclops rockabilly... I like the humor that TLC put into that. It´s soo very Mad-Max-like... pretty cool somehow.

And thanks. I didn´t know it here... but I guess you really can´t always judge a book by its cover... :kahuka:

A) How do you know he is not wearing a shirt? For all we know he is like the classic yellow space figure, considering we know next to nothing.

B) One of the Power Miners figs has a robot eye yet he is human.

C) They both have the same background which adds to the theory it might be a goodie.

D) The vehicle is also so small I'm surprised it can even have a colour scheme.

E) It's TLC.

Now I'm not saying it's not an alien, it probably is, but don't be so sure when we have such a blurry picture.

I quite agree; the concept is original and I think it's quite telling of what we can expect from the new Space Police.

Yes indeed, I hope that as a TRU exclusive we get a Space Grow-Op Bust.

Who needs gold in space anyway?

Killin' Cybermen. I should know. :hmpf_bad:

The K-9 robot looks rather cute, and that helmet on the space baddie is awesome! Hope it comes in dark green.

B) This guy has one eye, bang in the middle of his head. That trait indicates a Cyclops, or in the Space Police case, an alien.

C) TLG always released impulses of a theme with a goodie and a badie where applicable. Castle, Pirates and Mars Mission did this, so now Space Police is doing it too.

D) I'll admit that there isn't exactly a clear cut colour scheme, but it's definitely not the white, trans-blue and trans-red of the Police faction, so it's safe to assume it's the baddie.

E) TLG.
