The number one cause of death among pirates was venereal disease. The number one cause of death among men in the Navy was bleeding because of splintering wood flying everywhere in naval battles..

I would love to be a soldier/Imperial.

1...You almost always win the battles.

2...There are always more of you then there is of them.

3...You have a major fleet ,they most likely have only one or two ships.
