I humbly ask the aid of the kind and friendly Eurobricks members to help me identify a set. It must have been late 90's early 2000's. It was a hospital. It came in a large green plastic tub. The instructions were flashcards that simply had a picture of the rooms and you had to build based on those. It was rather large when completed including an exercise room, operating rooms, several staff and patients. Thank you for any and all help!

Thanks for the advice! I actually ended up finding it on Bricklink. It was part of the Dacta range. Geeze, if I knew it would go for over $300 these days, I would have kept it together.

That would be very clever! And you wouldn't even need instructions, since it didn't come with any to begin with.

Wow 20 mini figs... that is a cool set, the price I saw was $420 from "missing brick"...

Like a few others, I would never have known this set existed if it wasn't posted here. It's excellent! I really like the open plan and internal scenes. It's the DS2 of hospitals

There are many interesting sets in the Dacta line that were never advertised in the mainstream catalogs. I think most of them were only sold in the US and until the mid 90s, only to schools. Aside from this hospital, there was a town set with numerous roadplates and copies of several small vehicles from around that time period, as well as a large Futuron space base with strange looking minifigs.

The coolest sets were probably in Technic, such as the 4.5V manual control sets (which included 4.5V touch and light sensors that were never seen in Technic) and the 9V Control Lab line later on. They currently have an expensive but very neat NXT-colored pneumatic set available with a Lego pressure gauge.

I too have never seen this set before (were there others too?). It's got some great features and soooo many minifigs. I particularly like it because I used to build my buildings in a similar way (ie single storey with no roof) because that was a great way to get lots of details in and made them easy to play with - I had no idea that Lego were doing the same thing!!

It's a shame the Lego Collector's Guide left these sets out. I had a look last night and couldn't find it. I was sure I would have noticed it before!

There was a recent topic about this so I merged them.

I was looking through some of the dacta town sets on bricklink, and I must say some of them are really a nice build, definately a good addition to any lego town.

The hospital set has so much detail to it. A ward, a operating theatre, cafe, reception, all its missing is some consultation rooms. How many lego hospitals have such detail?

All that praising aside, I have never seen most of the dacta sets before untill recently. I wonder why? Wish lego had released them on a wider scale.

thanks a lot i was very confused when i saw that it was gone. sorry for the effort you had to do to fix my mistake.

...anyway, i loved this set it was so detailed and had so many minifigs. my favorite part was the physical therapy room with the bikes and treadmill type thing. the strangest part was the instructions. no actual steps just a basic picture to go by. i have never seen that before or since.

I've always loved this set, from the moment I set my eyes on it! Some of the more recent Dacta sets are also great, including 9322 Town Developers set, and 9324 Micro Building Set. I'm also very lucky because there is a teachers store near my house that sells these(the new ones).
