On saturday the 29th of November, the german TV station SAT1 have a 2.5 hour program called "The Lego Show".

It is showing from 20:15 to 22:45 CET.

In this years ‘Lego Show’, Kai Pflaume invites his candidates to guess the form of different Lego bricks with their toes, or to build a life-size fire engine.

For a charitable purpose, celebrities challenge Kids. The Lego bricks, which were won during the different action games in the show, will be transported by huge trucks to needy children at the end of the show.

Prominent guests are Christoph Maria Herbst, Nina Hagen and Verona Pooth, as well as many national and international music acts.

The announcement of the program is in germany, and if I understand, is a program who childs and celebrities will play a game and with each game win they contribute to, in the end, load trucks with the maximum of charge in Lego to distribute to the poor and needy childs in all Germany, is that? It's realy a big demonstration of solidarity and compassion with the "others". Congratulations for the people who organize this event. If was more people as they, the world will be better certanly. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thanks, thomas, but as djo said, there is only a trailer for now, and it looks like they wont show the whole thing there, only "highlights" of it. Still better than nothing of course, but I'd like to see it all in one piece.

Unfortunately my wife switched off the receiver after 1 1/2 hour . The last hour was lost this way.

If anyone is stressed about missing this, don't be. I managed 10 mins of watching some sweaty feet spoiling some kids gifts and some other strange features, but I had to switch off at that point, it was that bad. Maybe I'm just too old to appreciate it haha.

That's too bad. I hope you get to see the rest; the best things are at the end of the show, including the mesmerizing shot of all the trucks loaded with bricks driving off at the very end. I would be interested to see those 90 mins btw.

Well, there aren't many cool creations in the show anyway, except for that big city that you can see in the trailer. There is a game at the end of the show where one of the prominent guests is guided through that city with him/her being on a mobile seat under the table and his/her head sticking out of the street of the city. So, I really hope that someone will upload that part of the show some day.
