jonfett Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 When I posted Helms Deep v2 I said I would upload some battle pics in the next few days.. this was over a month ago! What?! So I got lazy :$ but now I am proud to present... The Battle of Helms Deep Gallery, when public - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=146106 Deeplinks http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...ttle/battle.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...le/battle23.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...le/battle18.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...le/battle20.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...le/battle19.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...le/battle14.jpg The pics range from battle.jpg - battle26.jpg so you can check out them all by changing the deep links. I intend to get heaps more orcs as I have about 60 at the moment.. although that is better than the 20 or so I had last time. Hope you enjoy it! ;) Jon. Quote
DoubleT Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 WOW.................. Is a good word here... Jon you are a master builder... Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Truly fantastic Jon !!!!!!!!! Its really nice to see it with Mfs !!!! I love the ladders and the "bull horn" (the thing to crack the front door !!!) !!! Show us more master projects like this one please !!!!!!!! Quote
SuvieD Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 This is very nice indeed. It has that siege look to it. I have to wonder though, what are the heads on all the other Uruks? Certainly you don't have 30+ darth maul heads to use for them. I like how the important characters stand out too. I could see the heroes of the battle right away. Quote
MattZitron Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 You're a very talented man Mr.Fett. I loves it. Quote
Vader Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Show us more jon :) this is truly an outstanding piece of work. Quote
sam89 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 That is excellent. Defintely the best Helm's deep MOC ever, and there's so many figs :oo Quote

He could have used Bib Fortuna heads like I did, or the Harry Potter troll's head. Quote
Norro Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Really good work. A great MOC. Looks slightly like the movie version ;) but we won't consider that a serious flaw :-D ... Thanks for sharing, God Bless, Nathan Quote
jonfett Posted September 20, 2005 Author Posted September 20, 2005 I have to wonder though, what are the heads on all the other Uruks? Certainly you don't have 30+ darth maul heads to use for them. 37 Dath Maul heads + 29 Bib Fortuna heads = 66 Uruks! ;) This has taken me ages, to create the Isenguard army. If I create another version I hope to have 100+ orcs! Btw, thanks for all the nice words guys! :) Jon. Quote
languages Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 AWE INSPIRING! Very cool indeed.... *viki* Quote
Aredhel Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Hey Jon, that looks really great! Very impressive! I Quote
Beagle Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Beautiful MOC! Funny how you can see Cloud City hovering up there above the fray...... ;) Really, though, this is great work. The catapult is ingenious, and I love all the little details in the set: the culvert in the wall, the battering ram, the curve of the stairs, etc. I think my favorite detail is the little ironclad "back door" off to the right of the main drawbridge. Very cool. Anyhow, inspiring work! Quote
