I was browsing Wal Mart's newest online catalog, for Black Friday, and it says KCS will be $50 in store, Friday and Saturday, November 28th-29th. That's half off!

While I'm not too excited about this sale, I figured all you castle-ites would be happy. =)

It first went on sale for $48.88 on their online store on the 8th. Lately, people have been able to find them in store for that amount. Seems like they started their BF sale a bit early this year.

Hmm. Very nice, but is this only at wal-mart? because I dont use wal-mart, except on extreme, so I dought I could convince my parents to shop early at Wal-Mart, especially right after a vacation (from wednsday to Friday) and my mom is more lenient normally, but her dad just died ( ) and my dad does not like Legos period.

According to the Walmart site, it will be online Friday morning, for the same price. Maybe they will be nice and give us free shipping.

This is good if you also want to get the ISD at Target (which may also be online if you don't want to go out at all)

I went out searching late last night (left at 10 and got back around 230). I originally planned to hit the Wal Mart 25 mins away and the one about 15 mins away from that one. The first one had nothing. The second had one just randomly set flat on a shelf (a shelf that wouldn't have had the clerance to have it standing up) with no tags or anything. I also found some figures I had been looking for which was great so I don't have to overpay on Ebay for them. So, after this I decided that I may as well keep going down the road to the next Wal Mart since they usually seem to have harder to find items (like more of the figures I was looking for). 25 minutes later I was there and they had the other 2 figures and another KCS. At this point I decided to go on down the line to the next Wal Mart. It was in the largest city of the Wal Marts I was going to so I thought it unlikely they would have any, but I had to check as close as I was. They had 3 and even had shelf tags. I ended up with 5 of them by the time I was done. So, if you are thinking about buying one, I would go look now or real soon as they are already out and already for sale (48.88).

If I were going to sell them, I figured I would have to sit on them for a while or offer free shipping or something. I know I won't get regular retail for them if I were to sell them. Honestly, selling the ones I don't keep for myself at enough of a profit to cover the ones I do keep would satisfy me.

I'm ambivalent about this set. While I've gotten 7 ISDs so far, I'm not sure if I want to pursue several Walmarts for a castle set. In case I do go to a Walmart, do I look for the set in the LEGO isle or the clearance areas?

I've found all of mine in the Lego section. They may be randomly placed within the section, but that is where they should be.

Mine didn't have a clearance section, in fact it wasn't even in the LEGO section, it was hidden in the overstock!!!
