I'm afraid your entry doesn't fit in the contest theme very well.

For example you have City torsos, Castle knights, Indiana Jones torsos and some of the buildings don't fit the time period too well.

I would suggest you have another look at the rules, and then adjust your entry accordingly. It doesn't look bad at all, it just needs to be fixed to be in the pirates theme.

Here are a few first things that could help:

1) I would definitely try to include only pirate or imperial minifigs, and some townsfolk. That's the first thing that makes a MOC go in the Pirate theme.

2) The building in the back looks a bit too modern with the glass windows. Maybe try and add some older looking things, the Castle or new Pirates line have many good pieces for that.

I only found the kraken attackin at my TRU. I could only afford one, too. I do not have any pirates other than those two. I didn't think I was going to win, but I said what the heck, I might as well try.

There's never any harm in that. You probably could at least make a great medium or small division entry if you wanted to.

That wouldn't require so many pieces or minifigs.

hurry up ! I think you don't have enough pirates part to make a so huge entry, my advice would be to reduce it, and maybe only make a medium and a small entry ^^

also, you need to post some image to make it a valid entry ^^

Well, I must agree they really look great, you most definatly have the ability to deliver a good PTV entry if you want to and have the spare time to do so.

To do that, just click on the picture on your brickshelf account until you can't anymore, then copy the picture's web address.

This set needs more pirateish things. It lacks pirates and different pictures. it needs more pirate building instead of castle and modern buildings. Try the new sets they have what you need. Ill give it a 1 out of 5.
