I liked her back in the 90's. Not just because everyone was listening to her at the time, but because the songs she made back then appealed to me more. I like 90's music a lot, especially those of the dance genre.

Sorry, but since you said mature than this is my opinion. I think that britney is quite a sad case though, she has been like married and divorced quite a few times.

Her case is kinda sad She is quite talented. I think that the MEDIA has done the most damage, as always I think that she is quite talented musical and she is fairly attracted (with hair ) Sure she has done some, well,m not so good things but she has been a milestone in the music industry, not as big as some others but shes been alright. Btw I am quite an anti pop person I love Punk and rock!!!! So im not being Bias at all.

There's no real evidence she was on drugs [everyone who says so seems a lot like just a grudge or wanting some fame for themselves]. And all the other stuff was mostly contained in her meltdown phase. But that's over now

Not sure if i would go as far as saying she's "Talented". More like entertaining. Her voice really isn't that good. Remember her VMA perfomace last year? Some of her songs do have a good beat though.

Shaving her head, putting her kid in her lap when driving, Alcohol abuse, stepping out of a vehicle not once, but TWICE without underwear on, Partying late night instead of being home with her kids, putting her kids in harms way multiple times... This is all HER fault,and no one elses. I realise that she gets followed by mulitple paparatzy, but its because of stunts like these that they continue to follow her everywhere she goes.

You are right in that way, but you see rumours are sometimes real but have been well covered up. EVen if it isn't real, her music and character enables people do think so.

Another sad example of a star who has taken advantage of the spotlight and used it to publicly ruin their life. I am impressed she has gotten on the right track again, but she is a terrible example for kids to look up to.

Point being, is that she is a celebrity. Being a celebrity,means she needs to take extra steps espeacailly when it comes to her kids, not to make a fool of yourself. Is she perfect? No. Is she going to mess up? Yes. As will anyone at some point. But she takes it to an extent. Ya,i know there are plenty of other people out there that drive/walk/go to work without underwear on, but if you knew the media was following you 24/7, it might be in your best interest to cover up some don't you think?

As far as the "Whole story", no, i'm sure we don't know everything, but thats still no excuse for abusing alcohol, putting your kids in danger,and all the other stupid behavoir that she brings on herself. Again, there are plenty of other celebrities out there that seem to be able to live fairly normal lives without attacting the attention that she does.

When I heard her first hit (Baby, one more time) I found it a good song. But after some weeks I heard it so much I was getting annoyed by it.

After I got a media bombing about her I was very annoyed especially about the "I'm a decent christian girl who don't want to have sex for her wedding.".

It was too much over the top.

After she was going to do crazy things, I was and annoyed about it (and annoyed about the journalists who thought I would care to knew every little moving about her) and I feel a bit pity for her.

Last year I didn't heard so much about her, even not some disgusting things. So I'm not so annoyed with her anymore.

She makes not my kind of music, but that doesn't matter.

BTW, I liked the music of the Spice Girls, so why should I give negative comments on it.

She's overrated, over-hyped, overpaid, and oversexed. And her music leaves me feeling under-impressed. Just my opinion, but I find Britney Spears to be one of the perfect examples of everything that's wrong with most American popular music. But if you like her, that's alright. To each unto their own (I probably butchered that saying).
