Lego12 Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 That is a HUGE MOC. Kudos to the creator! Why am I reviving old threads? huh. Quote
baby Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 A human scale MOC! That's really impressive. Quote
Brick n Brick Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Indeed it is! Thats crazy! And plus, it's functional! Quote
Fatespuppet Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Is there more information about that piano? If it's functional, does it house a true piano's workings or did he use electronics or something? I find it hard to believe that legos could handle the stresses that regular piano wires put on things. I could be wrong, but I think it's somewhere north of 1000 pounds of pressure. Either way it's incredible. Also, I seem to recall coming across pictures of that dinosaur 5 or 6 years ago. At the time it was still being built and had pictures of the inner structure. It's not solid, which was amazing to me considering how heavy it must be once complete. Quote
Stauder Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 After some diggin, I found the guy's website. Pianopage, with a MP3 to prove the piano works. MainPage LegoSculptures. Hope that helped. Stauder. Quote
Joey Lock Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Nice title... Just cause he can make creations you cant that gives you no right to call him crazy... Its a brilliant Piano! Quote
Adam Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 As JL said, just 'cause he can make a huge, kick-butt piano/dinosaur and you can't doesn't mean he's crazy! I demand a lawyer! What? You say that because I'm on a LEGO forum responding to a post means I don't GET a lawyer? I demand a lawyer for not getting a lawyer! Those are some nice ultra-huge-mega-sized-MOCs! Quote
Norrington Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 WOW. This thread was bumped after four years. There is another thread about this, and, it is not a piano. It's a harpsichord. Quote
AgentRick Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Now the real question here is, can it actually play music? Quote
Faramir Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 This thread's gotten more attention today than it'd had in the past 4 years... If I were that guy, I'd invest my time in building a working Lego Wii PS Is "it'd" a word? Quote
united brick Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 The piano is in lego and the dino in the background also. Please that the piano is fonctional Are you imo jk but wow that is "fonctional" lol Quote
Scouty Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Now the real question here is, can it actually play music? Yes, it does! Check Stauder's links to here a MP3 recording of the awesome harpsichord! Quote
