Ahem!

Not so sure about the point here?

We've been discussing the unreleased Castle sets in the H&A forum for a while now.

Is this to be some sort of discussion on unreleased sets?

If so, there's plenty to go around out there.

Every year the designers make several sets that are discarded from the initial idea and even as far as finalized and ready to go into production.

I thought some members had those sets?

I actually OWN the 7876 Cement Mixer set :pir_wacko: . It comes for some reason with my first Brickmaster magazine which was supposed to come with the 20003 Dino set. Maybe it is a super rare set :pir-laugh: ? Also I know about three more un-released set of the SW theme and are the next:

- MINI Wookie Attack 6968 supposed to be released in 2005.

- SW Bucket 1886 supposed to be released in 1999.

- MINI Snowspeeder 8029 according to a member in the FBTB forums that is supposed to be released in 2008.

Yeah, this topic is kind of pointless.

Yeah, that post was kind of pointless :pir_laugh2:

This topic is nearing its end though. Already it has people going off topic to make jokes :pir-tongue:

I think there should be a list of sets that weren't released. It would be very informative and prevent new members from making topics asking about sets that aren't going to be sold, or are already released.

Yeah, this topic is kind of pointless.

Instead of adding a usless post yourself, why not add sugjestions to the thread starter on wear to look for threads that might have covered this topicin the past? Posts like that don't make people feel very welcomed.

So do I...

That's why I reviewed it.

I bought it from an American who bought plenty on S@H for 1.98 USD.

Not a rare nor a not released set.

Star Wars bucket, eh?

Perhaps it just changed Set# into 7159?

And yeah I heard that about the Mini Snowspeeder.

I thought some members had those sets?

Some do.

The inside tour goers have been given unreleased sets as a special

What is considered a released set? There have been numerous sets in the past that were only distributed by a third party company in highly limited quantities, or were part of some limited promotion by TLG. The Vestas set is the latest example. There have also been many Dacta sets that, until some point in the mid 90s, were only sold to schools and other educational organizations.

If you're only counting "sets" that were never released to anyone, then they wouldn't really be sets at all.

In an email, a customer service rep said these were promos.

Follow-up email:

It appears it was a past free promotional give away at our LEGO® Brand Retail Stores. We do not have any further information on it, at this time.
