samthelegoman1 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Maybe we should make up some I mean in the old pirate line, the was Redbeard, Broadside, Kahuka, and many more. I guess the new pirate captain's name is Brickbeard (according to Brickbeard's Bounty). We still don't have a name for the imperial officer yet. How about Governor Ironside? Quote
hewkii9 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Credit to NewRight for the pic I dub this here pirate Chesty LaRoux. Quote
SlyOwl Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Some more names may be revealed at the Official Lego Club Event for Pirates... (Via Classic Castle) Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I'm bad at names, but the Governor looks a bit too friendly for such a rough name like Ironside but it's a nice name although. Maybe Lego will introduce some names when they bring more Lego Pirates on the market. Who knows Quote
Da Death Star! Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I think that TLC might put some names on the site(When it goes up).But I think Captain Gold-Hook would be a better name for the Cap'n(I mean'Come on!He doesn't even HAVE a beard! He barely has more than a Goatee!) Quote

isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Lego has yet to give us names for most of the 2009 pirates, i have decided to give them some names and a backstory for some of them. Captain Terrance Edwards (Brickbeard): A former member of the british navy, Captain edwards terrorizes fleets from the Gulf of mexico to the sea of japan. First-Mate Bram (The Tricorne pirate in BB): A former member of the Dutch East India company, he Has a knowledge of the indian ocean and Has clearence into all dutch colonies. Joseph "lassie" Edwards (Smiling pirate in BB): The son of Terrance Edwards. He was born to a Danish woman during the time When the crew had to spend 10 months at a small colony. He is called Girlie by the other crewmen because of the fact he has never killed or pillaged in his 15 years of life. His current position is Cabin boy. Mary McGregor (Wench): A tough scottish farmgirl, can always kill her target. She left her family to join Edwards crew because she couldn't Become a Jacobite and fight the British. Also Captain edwards needed a woman on crew so his men wouldn't get into "cough cough" "Swordfights". What do you guys think. Quote
Specever Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Brilliant names and storys. I vote yes. Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Thanks for the good feedback, Soldier name and bios comin' soon' Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Now the soldiers. High Commander Jenkins (Admiral): A high ranking man in the british armed forces. He has sponcering from the Duke of jersey, the Governer of jamaica, And Governer Danny williams of Newfoundland (You'd get that if you were a canadian) to get rid of edwards once and for all. Artillery engenier Braith "The keg"(angry faced soldier): He was raised in a tiny welsh village. He left his family to join the army so he could help support them. He was a great at the artillery drills and could take apart an reasemble a canon in 55 seconds, all by him self. He got the Nick-name "The keg" because of the fact he can drink an intire keg and he still wouldn't be drunk. Seargent Alexander calvinson(The officer with the black mustache): 2nd in command of the special forces soldiers, He comes up with most of the battle plans. He was originally stationed in upper canada to help stop french invasions. Commander Jenkins saw his recorde and imediatly let him on. He is skilled in all weapons. Muskets, pistols, Canons, Pikes, Rapiers, Cuttlases, and even axes. What do you think Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Cool names and stories so far! Quote
Blackheart Brit Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I think the pirates need nicknames too like Skinny Pete, Lefty Lassie, Rat's nest, the Dane. Stuff like Boot strap Bill, not his name but cooler sounding than Bill Turner. They don't need to make sense. The green stripe shirt guy can be Happy, and he personality is surly and mean so it is ironic. Etc Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Well, Most noramal Crewman usually didn't have nick-names. Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Oh and i'm going to use there names in my pirate mocs Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) Try avoiding double-posts by editing your previous one. By doing this your thread won't be bumped whitout reason. My crew have no nicknames. Edited January 24, 2009 by Cap'n Blackmoor Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Thanks for the tip Cap'n. I have a vig that i'm going to post soon. It's working title is "An important life leason" Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 (edited) Can't wait for that. But don't you mean: "An important life lesson or reason"? I can be wrong at this but I just don't know what leason means. Edited January 24, 2009 by Cap'n Blackmoor Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) Can't wait for that. But don't you mean: "An important life lesson or reason"? I can be wrong at this but I just don't know what leason means. Sorry, I ment Lesson, my bad Oh and I can tell you it involves Joseph and Mary alone in a powder cellar. And you Pretty much know what the Lesson is now do you . But you also don't know the details. Edited January 25, 2009 by isaacbrockthebuilder Quote
isaacbrockthebuilder Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Now here are The name of the ship Henrys Spirit (BB): A small yet powerful ship sailed by the Notoriuos Captain edwards. Its sizes lets it Intersept large fleets quickly. It has no deck so the crew sleep wherever. Quote
The Power Miner Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Seargent Alexander calvinson(The officer with the black mustache): 2nd in command of the special forces soldiers, He comes up with most of the battle plans. He was originally stationed in upper canada to help stop french invasions. Commander Jenkins saw his recorde and imediatly let him on. He is skilled in all weapons. Muskets, pistols, Canons, Pikes, Rapiers, Cuttlases, and even axes. I call him Rear Admiral Robert Downey Jr. Quote
Ye Olde Pirate Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 The pirate names are good, but the soldier names need some work. I don't know why I just don't like the soldier names. Quote
