If you read the first post carefully, then you'll notice that he (Oky) is aware that the original LEGO set is named Republic Gunship. But since this is a Steampunk MOC, he's named it Royal Gunship. - See? Not even "republic" is part of the new name. Please read posts more carefully next time. Quote

Yes, unfortunately, the standard was pretty darn high. There were some truly incredible steampunk MOCs among them. Just look them up on Flickr or Brickshelf. Well, after I entered the contest with pics that I took on the fly (to enter the contest in time), I wanted to make better pics of it in order to post it anywhere. I didn't get around to taking those pics until the beginning of summer. But when I had the pics, I had to concentrate on school until summer break. And in that break, we went on a long vacation, so I forgot all about this MOC. As school started again, I kinda got into small, semi-dark age as you might remember. Then, when I was looking through the poor Steam Wars section of the MOC Index thread of this forum, I decided to finally post it here in order to enrich that part of the index and get other members to post their Steam Wars MOCs as well.
