Was at my local toyshop today.

Me and CM pre-ordered the 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter.

It came already on Saturday, but I couldn\'t go get it because I spent the weekend in Bonn (Germany)

Guess if the surprise was BIG when I found out that you get an extra Darth Vader.

Even more so when it was Chrome-Black!!

It is a special edition.

Will probably more then the chrome C3-PO´s.

But as I said, run to your local stores, call the once that is to far.

Try everything you can. They are out there.

I mean if we in puny Sweden got 1000, how many more is there out there??

After pointing to water 2 times, and thinking of redoing it when they hit Sweden for the release, they decided to go so anyway for a pre-release.

I´m sure it will hit many other countrys as well.

Did you get it because of the pre-order? I've never actually heard of pre-ordering LEGO sets...

I do hope that it will be easy enough to find here in the U.S., but if not it's not a big deal, just a minifig after all, albeit a beautiful chrome-black one.

I'm not sure if I'm getting it right... so in the set itself there is 'plane-black' Vader, and 'chrome-black' Vader is an extra polybag on it's own added as a promotional stuff ???

In Sweden they got a 1000 of these chrome black Darth Vaders as "give-aways" when people bought the 8017 Vader's Tie.

It's an anniversary PR stunt.

Buy one and get the special Darth for free.
