Admiral Blockbeard Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 now that is taking it to the next level! off to google languages!
Zepher Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Everyone stop discussing and then there were none! I'm basing my Mafia style game off it damnit!
Admiral Blockbeard Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 (edited) Hinckley for your information Dragonator was born 3rd of July 1992, that is three days before one of the other dates... Don't know if that means anything but I had noticed it (oh and get some work done!) Yes Mr Percky Dragon, I am stalking you! Edited January 13, 2009 by Cpt. Pegleg Blockbeard
Dragonator Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 Yes Mr Percky Dragon, I am stalking you! Not if I leave your not! Anyway, as said in the main thread, I'm going away for a while, so I'll see you again later. I'll be back for two days next week, the afternoon of the 19th through till the morning of the 21st, however I didn't think two days was really long enough for another chapter. You'll have to wait till the 26th, sorry. I hope your still enjoying it, there is still plenty to come.

You'll have to wait till the 26th, sorry. Don't worry about us, we won't shove you down a dumb waiter, out a window (does this place have a single window? geez...) or just simply down the stairs. If you do happen to have an accident, well, you can't blame us for that. We're just waiting patiently, of course. Have fun while you're gone!
Sandy Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Oh, bummer! Just as everything was starting to make sense! But I'll be looking forward to continuing this. There are still too many options for me to make any guesses on the answers, but I think we're getting close to solving this mystery.
Admiral Blockbeard Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I will miss you Draggy Come back safe now, im not finished stalking cant wait for you to continue the mystery. Having fun holidays ON Regards, Cpt. PB
Hinckley Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 We can have a kill Dragonator Dunne Contest while he's away!
Hinckley Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Duh! Sir Dillon's character name is Michael Dunne!
Sir Dillon Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Duh! Sir Dillon's character name is Michael Dunne! Yeah, I kind of assumed that was my father or something... does this mean my character has no relation to the one in the news clippings? I wasn't around when the last chapter ended, but great job solving those clues guys!
Sandy Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Yeah, I kind of assumed that was my father or something... does this mean my character has no relation to the one in the news clippings?I wasn't around when the last chapter ended, but great job solving those clues guys! Oh, I thought it was your character the magazine clip talked about! But I think it's safe to assume that Martin Dunne is Michael Dunne's father/brother, and Michael wanted to revenge Lord Chester for him, which makes YOU the murderer!!! In the kitchen with a steak hammer at midnight! Ha, case solved! Now we can all go home.
Scouty Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Oh, I thought it was your character the magazine clip talked about! In the kitchen with a steak hammer at midnight! Ha, case solved! Now we can all go home. Yay, it's getting cold in here. With Dragonator gone, I don't think anybody knew how to turn the thermostat on. Brrr! I was going to join in discussion in the end of the last chapter, but then the game ended. Can't wait until it comes up !
Dragonator Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 Can't wait until it comes up ! You won't be waiting long my friend, I'm just building the parlour now (and doing a rough job of it, too). I will hopefully have the next chapter up tonight or at the latest tomorrow. Sorry to keep you all waiting in suspense for so long!
Shadows Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I will hopefully have the next chapter up tonight or at the latest tomorrow. Sorry to keep you all waiting in suspense for so long! I was channeling the spirit of Zabrina and Anthony interrupted wanting to know if this qualifies as tomorrow. I'm not asking, it's him. Ut oh, he's talking to the corpses now. That isn't so bad. Really? No, what's bad is they're talking back. WHISKEY! MAKE MINE A DOUBLE, BARTENDER!
Dragonator Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 It's still tonight here in my time, tomorrow is still a number of hours away. I just want to catch up on writing down a couple of things, and then I'll work on getting it up for you. You tell Anthony that for me. Now, more whiskey!
Sandy Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Dammit! I tried every plausible two-letter word on the cryptogram, and it still didn't open to me! I think the key to solving it is the "o", since there's so many of it... It could be "t", but then one of the word would have to be tits. And since Susan is the only one in the group to have those, I wouldn't want anything to be found there... Or maybe it's a new type of code again, which will bring this game to another two-week hiatus until I solve it.

Sandy Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Why are telling us that here? Because I'm trying to keep all out-of-character discussion limited here. We are playing roles here, and I prefer to take that seriously. I have a background in making theater, you see.
Hinckley Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Because I'm trying to keep all out-of-character discussion limited here. We are playing roles here, and I prefer to take that seriously. I have a background in making theater, you see. I have a similar background. You're in my new comic, by the way. Have you seen? Not to get your hopes up, you're just in the background. But, figuring out the code could be in character, I suppose. I haven't taken a good hard look at it yet. I will get a chance later.
Zepher Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Did he die from over-drinking? He's got a hell of a lot of whiskey, gin, scotch, whatever in the house.
Shadows Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Did he die from over-drinking? He's got a hell of a lot of whiskey, gin, scotch, whatever in the house. He might be pickled in some corner for all we know. I, for one, am glad he was an old lush.
Sandy Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 You're in my new comic, by the way. Have you seen? Not to get your hopes up, you're just in the background. Wow! How cool is that? No, I didn't see it before. I don't really read W&W because I don't get the inside jokes.
Hinckley Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Wow! How cool is that? No, I didn't see it before. I don't really read W&W because I don't get the inside jokes. Oh, interesting. Are there too many? This is way off topic, but I try to keep that in mind. Perhaps I should stray away from the inside jokes and stick to developing characters from what I have. I think I'm trying to flesh out the inside jokes so they're accessible for everyone, but if I'm failing I'm interested to know so I can improve that. But, I definitely wanted to get you in there as a fellow storyteller.
Zepher Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I love story telling! (Hint hint) Just to drag this topic further off track, I think you do a fine job. Sandy and i have beenat EB for about the same time, and I'm a huge fan of the comic. I think I have about 400 more posts then her (and she's a fellow), but other than that we've exprienced EB for about the same amount of time and know about the same amount about it. I persnoally don't get every joke in the Whacker and the Walrus, but I still think they are very very funny. They do have a plot, though it's sometimes hard to find, and they also have lots of jokes that you need zero background to understand. There are some inside jokes, but they can be easily explained, or are not to important to the story. It's really just like you poking fun at the other fellows/staff members, and putting yourself in painful situations. I have been finding them increasingly funny. Keep doing whatever you've been doing.
