BrickCurve Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Anyone having issues logging into bricklink today (aug 4th 2016)? I get this error: Bad Message 413 reason: Request Entity Too Large I have had no issues, though I am attempting out the day after you.
badbob001 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) Anyone having issues logging into bricklink today (aug 4th 2016)? I get this error: Bad Message 413 reason: Request Entity Too Large Clearing my browser cache didn't help, but clearing my cookies did. In chrome, you only have the option to clear your cookies for all sites, which I don't want. So I found an extension called 'clear cookie and reload' which does it for only the current site. Update: you can also click on the document icon in the address bar to see all the cookies for the current site and delete each one. Edited August 6, 2016 by badbob001
Tom Jurassic Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 So I am planning on ordering another S.H.I.E.L.D Quinjet from Bricklink without the figures and I am wondering - what is the likelihood of the set being complete as stated? I've never used the service and don't know how it works compared to Ebay.

Always check the feedback of a store before ordering anything. Edited August 8, 2016 by BrickCurve
Robianco Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 As BrickCurve said... a reputable seller with good feedback should be a guarantee of a completed set. If you're looking at the cheapest UK seller on BL he has a very good feedback rating and even the 1 neutral he has gave feedback of 'Good'. I'd say you were pretty safe with him.

TWP Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I have an order made a month ago, but the seller still hasn't replied to me regarding the order, not even after i send him an extra email. I don't know what to do as I don't want to lose the offer and it was a very good deal, also the seller has good enough feedback, so I have no idea what happened. Anything having good advice for what to do?
Artanis I Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Have they been giving and receiving feedback with others during this time? If not, they may no longer be with us or are out of action somehow.
zux Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Issuing NRS (Non-Responding Seller) should help to get sellers attention. As this is a red flag for him. Unless Seller has stating something like he is on vacation, but the store is opened for that time so he will proceed with order after return.
TWP Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Okay, thanks zux & artanis, seller had not replied to another e-mail, so issued the NRS And indeed, seller hasn't logged in since July 30th...
HallBricks Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Hello everyone! I have decided to start up a BrickLink store. I don't have a huge amount of parts to sell but I want to do this most for fun, and to get some money from parts I never use anyway. I have done some research and am just about ready to start up the store but there are some decisions I would like som help with. I have a lot of parts I would like to sell that have stickers applied, some wall parts from 7946 King's Castle for example. Is it better to keep the stickers applied or not, are pieces with stickers more attractive? I would also like to know if it's better to sell minifigures as figures or just part them out in the rest of the inventory? Thank you in advance Hallbricks

Thank you in advance Hallbricks Don't know about the stickered parts, but if you're talking about licensed figures, do not part them out, especially if they are rare/valuable. Otherwise parting out might be a good call.

TWP Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 I wonder what will happen when I buy this set... http://www.bricklink.com/store/home.page?p=WatermelonStore&itemID=91135171#/shop?o={"invID":"91135171"} Might actually do this... 0.56 euros for that many parts, new? Yes please xD
zux Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Well, looking at person's feedback I would assume he is a new guy, trying to make a few bucks and he made a mistake. I'd suggest letting him know instead of ordering, as order cancellation request will follow afterwards making everything a bit more complicated and stressful for seller.

Hehe, yeah I know, already did that He seems to have adjusted his price.
TWP Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Sometimes sellers of minifigs on Bricklink advertise in their text saying: "New minifig unassembled in ziplock" I was wondering, does an unassembled minifig give preference over an assembled minifig? Are they worth more? Do they get selled more easily?

Are they worth more? Do they get selled more easily? It means the minifigs are really "untouched". Personally, I feel it matters more with minifigs that have capes, because those can get creases. When I'm looking for figs, I usually don't mind if they're assembled if the price is good or if the seller has a good amount of figs. However, having them unassembled is always a neat perk to have. Specially in the case of sealed polybags.
Artanis I Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Half the fun is in putting them together for the first time! When they are already assembled it's a bit of a kill-joy
Giantorange Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Sometimes you don't have the choice but to open the cloak packs, as they can have more than one in, so needs to be opened to split the figs.

I've ordered minifigures that didn't have an indication of assembly in their listings, and was disappointed when they were all put together. On an unrelated note, is anyone currently having issues accessing BrickLink? I can't seem to get to my Orders page, among others.

Yep - I'm getting Bad Gateway for all queries requiring search and filtering. My store page still works, so does the BL homepage.
