samthelegoman1 Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 A work in progress of my first modular building: Doug's Diner. The first floor is a diner, the second floor is a kitchen, the third and fourth floor are Doug's living space. Should I add a balcony on the third floor? Comments are welcome. Flickr Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 I've decided to add the balcony. Any more suggestions? Quote
Siegfried Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I've decided to add the balcony. Any more suggestions? I think you should add it. I'd also advise a less clear or more similar colour division. Quote
Natman8000 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I like the snot, but I think you should workon making it more... diner like. Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 Well, it's more like a tavern or bar than a diner, actually. Only the first floor is the bar. They rest is Doug's personal area. I was thinking of making it an apartment, but I'd have to make a lot of bathrooms! Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 Update: I've also decided to make a flat 4th floor and put a hot tub on it. There will be a bedroom too. I have started furnishing the 2nd floor, which will be a kitchen and bathroom. Quote
samthelegoman1 Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 Another update: I ditched the balcony idea and finished making the pool. There will be a bedroom on the roof, and it's looking pretty snazzy Quote
djo Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 using less color for the wall should enhance the look. maybe some roof or awning can lighten the building weight. just my two cents. Quote
