I know. I'm just not sure which "separate parts" you are talking about. Do you mean the first post of each chapter?

That's a good idea. You can put a list within a list with the buttons in the upper right of the reply screen...

JimButcher, may I suggest that the players could have a separate discussion thread, where all of the OOC and comments highlighted in different colors to be placed inside the discussion topic. That topic shall be used to hold all discussions and planning related to SWCG. In this way, the story topic will not be overflow with comments and content that is not related to the plot in any ways. In your discussion topic, rules and regulations should be featured in the first post. That shall serve as your first point of contact for old and new SWCG players where they could have a much clearer overview, and that includes your index.

I am speaking from EBRP perspective, even though there is minimum activity down there. It's good to see things and layout to be much organised and concise. Spend some time to go through and complie the standards in one post. I am sure it will work much better in the future without much misunderstanding. Just sharing my 2 cents worth of comments. :pir-classic:

Why, they are not merely worth two cents! Those are some great ideas- I think an index/discussion thread would be a nice idea.

That's exactly what I thought when I created this type of ending! It may not make a lot of sense or make the whole season seem "obsolete", but it's better for the game. Sorry to hear that you didn't like it, though.

2 weeks in a 3 year war isn't going to make much difference to the overall saga, besides it'll be quite coll if we enter the "dark times" and connect with the tie army thread.

The circle would be now complete and all that!

Hm... an ancient Sith artifact, you say? You mean, like, something that will give Dooku and Palpy ultimate power or something? Sounds interesting, even though it seems a little IndianaJones-ish. At least it would be something different than some kind of super weapon or other piece of technology which is usually the center of a SW story.

I don't know about the "new type of battle droid" idea, though. It seems a little... ordinary. Besides, we already have Super Battle Droids, droid commandos, and MagnaGuards, which already are top-of-the-line battle droids. And we already have droids that are nearly indestructible, like Destroyers (aka. Droidekas), and droids that have cloaking devices. So, what else is there to create? A droid that has all those abilities and is called "Ultra Battle Droid"? Sounds a bit cheesy...

I didn't put to much thought into it, was just examples. There could be a "Oky what have you done" type opening chapter. Creating a massive paradox is sure to make things screwy, there can be "echos" of the original story line, (mysterious explosion on utapau, and mentacore (place i found bequin) can be rebelling because someone wasn't there, things like that.

You get the ending, I see continuity, everyone else gets a chapter extra, Good idea?

Hmm... yeah, it sounds good, but I'd prefer it if the characters just heard about the strange things. The future characters would be like ghosts to the present beings, so nobody would know what happened. But that's just my opinion, so let's decide based on what more people think. :pir-classic:

I agree as well. :thumbup: The whole post-in-a-different-color thing was getting annoying, and there were entire pages filled with OOC, making it hard to follow the story. However, the creation of an index & discussion thread shouldn't make the colored posting obsolete. I would still like to be able to make a comment or two within a post in the game; just to provide some additional information about, say, a MOC for example.

You just don't get it, do you. :pir-hmpf: The main purpose of that ending was to make everything that has happened "not happen", so that we can have fresh start! Although it's an interesting idea to start the new season the way you suggested, it would defeat the whole purpose of my season 1 ending and create a season that is even more confusing than the previous one.

To make myself clear: Even though all the events in Season 1 did occur, there are no traces of them, except for the current players' memories. No space/time paradoxes, no doppelgangers of the current players, no nothing. It's a whole new season with only the current players being the same characters as in the last season.

However, if you really, really want to, you can create a side plot involving "echos" of season 1. Just try not to make it too confusing. :pir-wink:

You just don't get it, do you. The main purpose of that ending was to make everything that has happened "not happen", so that we can have fresh start! Well, the forums I visit often have something like posting in ((double parentheses)) or [brackets] instead of posting in colors or clarifying it's out of character by going OOC: before you say something.

Good suggestion but I like WhiteFang's idea more! I mean posting OOC or double bracket is quite irritating for me as they are all in black but in different color you can see the difference! But I still feel that WhiteFang's idea is better! :pir-classic:

EDIT: The Discussion thread is now started! It is not yet finished, so please post any comments or questions here, so I have room at the beginning for an extra one or two posts for the MOC index. Also, I will need any member who hasn't posted a good, clear picture their character's minifig in the original Comic game thread to PM me that picture. A good example of this is Oky Wan's picture in the discussion thread. Try not to make the pic too big, either, Please. Also, some of you are missing bios for your characters, which I would like to have in the index. If I can't find yours at the end of making the players list, I'll make a little list here of the people who are missing a bio, picture, or both. Thanks!
