Jipay Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 DoubleT got those and he'll be able to indicate you the measurment Quote
David85 Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 I'm wondering how long the castle is when it is open. Quote
DoubleT Posted July 30, 2004 Author Posted July 30, 2004 Well dont think it can open? Not with that baseplate.. Quote
David85 Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 It kind of opens.... It looks like it is a "L" shape when it's "closed" and when it's "open" it becomes a straight line, buecause it's not on one baseplate but two. Quote
sam89 Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 In this picture you can see that it is hinged, so you cn put it in an 'L shape' or make it straight. Quote
David85 Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 Thank you Sam, I was trying to figure out how to link to the picture. Quote
DoubleT Posted July 31, 2004 Author Posted July 31, 2004 Ohhh that castle, thought you ment the big one... Quote
ApophisV Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 yeah, the big one looks just like a single wall... :( Quote
David85 Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 you should get the set before criticising... Sorry for this fbtb-like edit :D But I mean try to be less harsh please ;) It's like when I agrue with video games, the PS2 is crap and people go "Why don't you buy one before critizing it?". Why would I buy the $150 thing when I know it's crap by playing it at a friends house. Why would I buy the $90 castle that I already know is crap by looking at it? Quote
Jipay Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Well I agree on PS2 but for the castle set, I wanted to say try it before. Because for instance we don't know what is behind the wall... Quote
DoubleT Posted August 1, 2004 Author Posted August 1, 2004 lol behind the wall? secrets ;) But i agree, see the set first.. Quote
David85 Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 I have seen the set and there is no way I'm wasting $90 on that crap. Quote
ApophisV Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 i like more "realistic" looking castels, with a complete sourrounding wall and such stuff... like the old black knight castle: http://www.brickset.com/search.aspx?Set=6086-1 (which i own!!! :D) Quote
jonfett Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 I dont agree that the big sets is "crap" but I dont like the look of it. I will probably get the smaller one as It looks more fun and cheaper (which is the main reason!) Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 I'll get teh two small sets soon I hope ! Let's cross fingers :P Quote
DoubleT Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 Well maybe in the futere we might get the much wanted System Sets Pirats... But thats a new topic :) Quote
Jipay Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Yes... But I already own so many pirate sets... If only they could release new pirate sets like those giant big boats I have at home :< Quote
DoubleT Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 I can give you an big boat with out sails and ors, and the leave you in the middle of the South pacific :P B) (Oh when i think of it, i cant do that... Would not be fair to the boat...) Quote
