December 10, 200816 yr I've only seen the photos of the comics, but from what i've seen they look great. On his blog too there's some Mars Mission/Indiana J strips too. TLG used to do comics in the instructions quite a bit previously, so i'm glad they're beginning to return to it.
December 10, 200816 yr He has done a nice job with making the comics. It's always nice to read a story about your Lego set I can draw quite well but I can't make such comics ( yet ).
December 10, 200816 yr I cant believe no one took pictures of the comics in the Brick Beards Bounty instruction booklet! Well I might as well show them I guess... I hope this helps! Edited December 10, 200816 yr by Genaral armendariz
December 10, 200816 yr Nice pics but I'm not going to buy the BB because it contains a comic. Sad thing that Lego never placed comics in the old pirates-line instruction books
December 10, 200816 yr Thanks for sharing those with us! Could you please resize your pictures to a maximum of 600 x 800 pixels? A tutorial about it can be found in the index, link is in my signature. I'll leave 'm in the way they are for 2 days, otherwise i'll have to remove them.
December 11, 200816 yr nice pics ( too big but that's ok for me ^^ ) I took some pics of it, but I didn't take it in good quality to let a little "surprise" in the set ^^ here is an example^^
February 7, 200916 yr Governor Found the artist that did those nifty comics in the new pirate set instruction books. You've done well! He did very good work on those comics. Now if only we had someone like him to draw illustrations for us...
February 7, 200916 yr I always forget how much work it actually takes to get a LEGO set out there. Excellent find!
February 8, 200916 yr Governor Yeah, just think how many people have contributed to the finish product, from those who designed the set right down the line to those who package it. I think the images in the General's post are in desperate need of resizing...
February 8, 200916 yr Yes, the comics are very nice, I love the vibrant colours and the great effects. It does strike me as odd though that the pirates are portrayed as the "good guys" and the Imperials are portrayed as the "bad guys". It always seemed to be the other way around in the Classic Pirates line. Also, all of the comics can be found on the Lego website.
