The topic is pretty self exlanatory. 2008 brought many new, great minigure headwear/hair. Vote for your favorite, and discuss here.

Tell me if I missed any, I tried to get them all.

I personally like the helmets since they are closed, and you can actually have a face, also the variations in the printing was a big plus. Ahsoka's hairpiece was close choice.

Castle Orc helmet !

I simply think the orc minifigure is a treasure to look at, and the helmet comes in a silver and a gold version.

I voted for the Trace hair, as I think it has the most overall uses and it's always great to see a new female hair mold.

The Spalko/Claw-Dette hair is great for this reason as well.

Some runner-ups were the Mutt hair and the beautiful fedora. I like most of the other ones too, but most of them don't have too many uses.

Nice idea for a poll. :pir-classic:

I kinda wish there were multiple choices or separate categories for hair and hats/ helmets. I didn't make the poll though...

I chose Clawdette's hair. Besides using it for a sultry lady, I have them on some of my Ugha warriors. Very cool design!

The Jester's hat wins by a long shot. Heck, I think it's the best headpiece they've ever made, so it easily wins for 2008.

Interesting topic and a tough question! :thumbup:

All the new hairpieces are very, very useful, and the new Phase 2 Clone helmet is pretty sweet, too, since it allows the clone fig to actually have a face and to be "promoted" to a captain or commander. But, in the end, I had to vote for Trace's ponytail, simply because it makes any female fig look so damn hot! :pir-wub::pir-grin:

Well, except Spalko maybe. :pir-sick::pir-laugh:

I'm glad you all like my topic! I voted for the Mutt one, just because it can be used in just about every theme, and I'm sure we will see it an lots of future sets. Besides, who really has perfect hair like the original classic male hairpiece? :classic:

I think that the Mutt hair has to be the best hair piece! Before now we have had only two suitable hair pieces for use in a Lego city. The Mutt hair is much more realistic and also better looking than the previous two! :laugh:

I own most of these wonderful headpieces, and they're all in frequent use, but I just couldn't help but to vote for one that I didn't have yet: the ponytail hair. It's really a wonderful piece that can be used in many settings, and I expect it to appear in many colors in the future.

The jester hat and of course the jester that came with it. We've been waiting over 20 years for a jester.

Trace's hair is my second choice.
