ybeline Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 (edited) Hello everybody! Here is my first review :) Set Name: TIE Interceptor Set Number: 7181 Year of release: 2000 Price: unknown Parts: 703 Minifigures: none Stickers: 1 (spaceship information) Box front: Notice that is is in relief: Box back: Instruction book (47 pages): Assembly: 3 main steps: cockpit, wings & pedestal. Cockpit: Cockpit front: Cockpit left: Cockpit back: Cockpit right: Cockpit interior (main window removed): Wings: Upper wing: Lower wing: Center wing: Center wing front: Center wing back: Pedestal: Position 1: Position 2: Spaceship information sticker: Spaceship: Main colors: dark grey, black and dark blue. Accuracy: not too much and... enough. Nice model. Build: 7/10 (2h, easy and fun (cockpit nicely made) but a bit repetitive!) Playability: 5/10 (too big, wings connections a bit weak) Set functions: 2/10 (cockpit window links very fragile, opening it entirely is impossible without removing laser canons, moving solar panels may break connections between upper/lower wings and center wing) Design: 10/10 (one of the most beautiful Star Wars set, smart blocks connections) Must have for those who want to proudly display their sets. Thanks for reading, Bye. Edited December 18, 2008 by KimT Quote

SWMAN Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I am not a big fan of this set. It feels too dark and doesn't look very realistic. Quote
KimT Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I am not a big fan of this set. It feels too dark and doesn't look very realistic. Which is very bad since Star Wars is very very very realistic. I like it. It's one of my favourite sets. Perfect smooth design. Thanks for reviewing it. Quote
KimT Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 One of my first sets. Of all the UCS sets out there, I still get nostalgic about this and the X-Wing. They're classics and will always be a little more than just UCS sets. Thanks for the review and: Quote
