I think you should add the Chrome Vader to the poll. If you do that, I´ll definately vote on that one (new chrome colour+new design Darth= )

Definately Rex or Fox, they have awesome helmets, but I think the upperhand goes to Fox for his decked out armor, and awesomr maroon!

My favorite minifig of 2008 is a round between the new Clone Trooper or the Starkiller minifigs. The first one is awesome and in my opinion the best trooper yet done by the TLC. The commanders are good for sure but the generic look of a stand alone clone trooper is awesome. The Starkiller minifig in another hand is aweosme in all the ways. Cool looking, is from TFU, aweosme detail and it comes with an amazing set (At least in my opinion  ). So the winner is... (Drums please  ) Starkiller  .

Vader's Apprentice!

Wicked Awesome figure in every way. I think he is the best looking one out of all the minifigures. In an action pose with that lightsaber behind his back...AWESOME STUFF!!!!

I can tell you the most popular with kids is either Cody or Rex, because every kid 10 and under wants one of those.

Only one of those figs I own is the Rebel Trooper, so my vote goes to...

-drum roll-

Rotta!

:tongue::laugh:

And that's about all. Unless the Chrome Black Vader would count as a 2008 minifig since it's been "pre-released"

So many great mini figs - '08 was such a great year for Lego

Really loved Starkiller and the Rebel troopers

But as i'd always wanted a Plo Koon - he gets my vote

He're hoping for a Ki Adi Mundi.....

you missed Plo koon :sceptic:

Battle damaged Darth Vader for me, with rebel troopers and CW clones (any) second and third.

The clone wars heads has grown on me and look much better in person.

Plo Koon, all the way. The head mold is so ingenious, and it doesn't even look CW! The torso is also neat and it looks great next to Kit Fisto. Hopefully TLG will do more "side" Jedi. Some close seconds were Ben Kenobi, DS Darth Vader, and DS Palpatine... I'll have to order Ben and Palpy if they don't appear in 2009. I also really liked all of the new clones in general, with great helmets and torsos. Just switch out the E.T. heads for plain black ones, and they'll look fine.

I voted for the rebel trooper; never counted on LEGO producing those, and they're pretty neat :)

I didn't vote for Plo Koon on pupose, as I think his head is a lot 'wider' in the movie then it is now produced; he was a bit of a letdown really...

I feel like the only one who voted for the new Vader. Doesn't anyone find a better version of the most iconic character in the series the best?

I must say Commander Fox and second Juno Eclipse, she is a nice addition to the Star Wars Universe chics.

How told KimT, Chrome Vader - greate fig! But it released only in 2009, best new fig in 2008 - new realistic Darth Vader, of cource. New clones I have look like cool, short of Vader. :vader:

P.S. Sorry about my mistakes in spelling and grammar... :look:

Yes yes I am aware that the Chrome Vader is named as a 2009 minifig, but nevertheless has he already been released in Sweden. Still it's best to leave him out of this poll, otherwise the young CW fans around here wouldn't stand a chance of getting their CW clones to win this one.

C'mon guys a red/green/orange clone trooper is still a clone trooper, even if you name it after a fine little red and furry fella
