Dennimator Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Hi! I recently wanted to make a custom minifig torso, using this template. However, I just copy&pasted it, and I´ve read that you shouldn´t do that. How do I do to resize it? (If it´s necessary, I can post the custom design here tomorrow.) Thanks! Quote

Hi Dennimator, what I meant by 'do not simply copy and paste' is that you should not do that into word (or any other such program you use to print the decals). If you save the template file on your PC and open it with a graphic program (like CorelDraw, or Photoshop, or Paint), you should notice it's the right size already (15,5 x 13,2 millimeters at 600 dpi). As long as you don't change those settings (height, length and resolution [the DPIs]), it should be printed in the right size . Please do not esitate to make me know if you need further help. SkyOtic Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I'm using paint.net, and it doesn't resize automaticly. and it doesn't print the size you said it would be, even if i use the normal paint. Quote
LuxorV Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Ok, I linked you to the wrong thread (or at least one that doesn't solve problems connected to the use of Paint to print decals). Try printing them this way. Note: It's for printing decals only, not to work on them with a graphic program and then print them. I can't grant it'll work if you change them with another program: if the program messes up the resolution, you cpould get total garbage . In the future, please don't revive old topics like this. A PM would have sufficed . LuxorV Quote
