AndersI Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 After seeing some pictures of a Yellow Castle in scale 6x, I just had to try my hand on an upscaled minifig. This is the result: Full folder on BrickShelf Quote
KimT Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Nice up-scaling. Especially the legs look good in my opinion. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 That is very impressive, I must say! I like the legs too, and the head is especially good as well. I think the arms are a bit to spindly perhaps, though I can't really think of way to solve that. The normal minifig being held by the large one is cool! Quote
djo Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 nice maxifig. i think the arms is a little thin. are the legs moveable? Quote
AndersI Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 (edited) i think the arms is a little thin.are the legs moveable? Yes, I agree that the arms are a bit thin (and wrong form). They are a Q&D job, and will need a redesign, I just had to make him 'ready'. The legs are movable, see the other pictures at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=353507. He's constructed of extra large versions of the original pieces, he can be taken apart in the same way as an ordinary minifig. I had to cheat a bit, though. When he's standing up the hip is fixed with two extra pieces - he was very tricky to balance otherwise, fell over all the time. Edited December 21, 2008 by AndersI Quote
