Urgh.

At this point, I would have rather no season than half a season... Though I'll probably get interested again once playoff start :look:

Now let's see what the Canucks will do with our dear Luongo...

Send him to the Leafs!

He's still better than anyone we have!

YEA!!

Now let's see what the Canucks will do with our dear Luongo...

I'm looking forward to finding out too.

I felt like this is the appropriate thread to post this: THE LOCKOUT IS FINALLY OVER!!!

I thought the deal was tentative. It is not over until they dot the i's and cross the t's and sign on the dotted line of the contract. :classic:

Now we will see who follows though on the all the threats made by disgruntled fans ie. "I'm never gonna watch these over-paid crybabies again!" or "Not a penny more to those scumbag owners."?

I have suggested to some of my friends that people make their displeasure know by refusing to buy any team-branded merchandise this season. Not a big enough hit to really damage the league but it could be enough to send a message maybe?

I second that. The Leafs need more good players so they don't continue to get their megabloks kicked.

Good thought but I doubt that'll work in Canada; hockey is too embedded in the history and country. Maybe in the States like Phoenix, LA, Detroit but probably not in Toronto or Vancouver, etc. anytime soon. There are already people going around wearing jerseys everywhere I see.

Hey fellow Canucks - Just found Series 9 here in Mississauga. Went to the new Mastermind Toys at Hurontario & Eglinton and they had a half picked over box and a full box. Managed to get a complete set, although I don't think there will be another set in the lefovers - I found the only Plumber and Forest Maiden. Good luck! Price was $3.49.

Mastermind on Mt. Pleasant in Toronto has them too...but after I went through them all that is left is about a third of a box. Apprently they've sold a few boxes fairly quickly. Surprisingly enough, I got all the hard to find ones in multiples too - Plumber, Forest Maiden, Starlet, Tarot Card. I could only find 1 waiter (not a big deal for me)...and lots of police officers, mermaids and knights.

I'm moving to Canada this Spring and I heard a Lego Land will open in Toronto. Excited to see and experience LEGO in another country since LEGO here is so expensive.

Yeah they're opening a Discovery Centre on the North end of town. There's two stores as well and third on it's way.

I had a trip to Vancouver and Vancouver Island 10 years ago.

I had a very good time over there, so "Thanks to all the helpful Canadians I met".

I have to admit I was not really looking for Lego at the time. LoL

Come and visit Nottingham some time....

does anyone know if there will be a way to get the chase mccain minifig in canada? i know that in the us you could get it from target, and i think gamestop, but is there any way to get the minifig here in canada?

First our Leafs win against Montreal and now the Raptors beat the Lakers. :sweet: I don't really follow hockey, but I sometimes watch basketball. The Lakers are my favorite team, I wish I could have gotten tickets but I'm happy the Raptors beat them. True underdog fan right here.

Exactly my thoughts here; hopefully they can build big time around a franchise player next year that isn't someone named Bargnani.

If you want A Chase McCain minifigure you can always buy http://brickset.com/...il/?Set=60007-1 but if you want the poly version you'll have to resort to Bricklink.

Let's make sure this last page to 100 is filled with posts just as worthwhile as the previous 99 pages. :classic:

What!? There goes my super awesome lone post of, "100!" XD

Well, at least in Ontario, there are a bunch of Zellers stores being turned into Targets

I heard that they're (at least the one in London) opening in March-April; might I be wrong?

My local one (New Brunswick) is closing February/March then Target is doing renovations. It might vary from location to location though.

the one's at market mall and chinook have been under construction for a while now, but i don't know when they will open

edit: a quick search and i discovered that they will be opening in the spring

OK, I know I am clueless sometimes but how did I miss this until today?
