March 24, 201113 yr the calgary marlborough mall walmart has them, i don't know if any others have any.
March 25, 201113 yr Fredericton Regent mall Wal-Mart has them, so I think once it`s reached the Maritimes it`s safe to say that it`s reached Canada wide.
March 26, 201113 yr Wal-Mart at Markville Mall in Markham, Ontario has 5.5 boxes of figs on the shelf as of a couple of hours ago. Good luck finding hockey players or scientists though. I spent 2.5 hours feeling my way through the bags and barely found any. I guess they'd been picked-over pretty good already. Tons of sailors, musketeers, etc., still available though.

Funny you mention that - those were the last 2 I was searching for as well. Managed to find them in about 15 minutes. I think the scientist is only 2 per box, not sure for the hockey player.
March 27, 201113 yr Oh my gosh, this is seriously a real topic?? I can not bear to read this. Have any of you seen the movie Canadian Bacon? Funny, but racist against Canadians, I wonder what you guys think about it. Are you guys just annoyed by the whole thing of jokes about Canada, or do you just find it silly? LOL, You realize that it was starring many famous Canadians posing as Americans. i don't find it racist against Canadians. It is just too funny to be anything but comedy :)
March 28, 201113 yr I was very surprised to find S4 at the Dufferin in Toronto, 'cause that place is usually pretty far behind the curve, but there were at least 4 boxes by my count on Sunday afternoon. I pulled out a sealed one and got my set out of it after some feverish groping and snarling at an old guy who was fiddling with my 'keepers' pile. The Scientist proved hardest to find for sure. I'm unsure what goes into the thinking regarding the distribution. Also, I miss the barcodes a lot. They didn't make it easy to know what you're getting by any stretch, but no one here is just grabbing and buying blindly. And I felt like a real skuzz manhandling all the pouches for that long. Barcodes make it just a little easier for us set collectors, while not hindering in any way those that do wanna just buy a blind one [if there are any people like that]. Although hoarders mess stuff up... Ach, there's just no winning. [Dots helped maybe 40%, I'd say. When you could see them, they were great. But too often you just couldn't see them.]
March 28, 201113 yr CM Series 4 now @ WallyWorld in Victoria (Uptown location). Well, there was yesterday but some of my LUGmates have been buying whole boxes - which they promise they will be sharing around. I had to make Gilligan with the sailor hat: EDIT: just confirmed Uptown WallyWorld is sold out. Langford may have some otherwise I'd be checking London Drugs. They had them almost as fast last round. Same here I guess if this guy is also in the GTA; not for the Maersk train I guess but for anything else. The big sets if picked up in the US you can save a good amount.

April 4, 201113 yr On to Chapters! I always feel so lame standing in chapters and feeling up plastic bags in the "kids section" , I usually go for mastermind, though the price raise does really urk me.

April 6, 201113 yr Take a younger sibling/cousin. They are just selling series 3 in South Korea, I am Canadian!!!!, and I think I unintentionally snarled at some boy who came up to touch some when he saw me pawing them for ten minutes. I managed to find a snow-boarder yesterday though!
April 13, 201113 yr Hey everyone! I'm a bit late to the party, but whatever... I mentioned this over in the Pirates forum in the POTC discussion, but anyone in the Toronto area will be happy to hear that the Sherway Square LEGO Store grand opening is the weekend of May 13th! I put a link in the POTC thread, but here it is again: http://stores.lego.com/en-us/Toronto/LandingPage.aspx The link just goes to a page that tells you the details of the weekend. I'm pretty pumped!

Preferably on the Saturday, cause I don't think those minifigure t-shirts will fit me
