Exactly. I might go tomorrow and get some small sets at a discount :thumbup:

Do you guys know if this is nation-wide or just for the Toronto area? The Zellers in my area never has a great selection anyway.

I know EB is not a Political Forum, but what do you guys think of what Stephen Harper's been doing to get votes. I mean, singing a Beatles song at an artists Gayla, lowering taxes, sweaters vests and kittens. Give me a break! :hmpf_bad:

Just popping my head in.

I lived in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan for nearly three years as a kid/young teen.

Some wonderful memories and every rainy gray New Zealand winter I miss Canada's fresh fallen snow and crisp dry air.

I like to call myself semi-canadian. After all, New Zealanders say 'Eh' too.

I guess you never came through Victoria, BC. Sounds like your winter is what we get here: grey and wet. We have to drive four hours to find enough snow to ski. :classic:

I did visit BC, and climate and scenery there are suprisingly like NZ. In Saskatchewan, there was no lack of snow but a complete lack of anything resembling a slope. Skiing=fail. I took up ice hockey instead.

Skiing=fail.

:tongue: The only places I know for skiing in Canada is BC, north of Toronto, near Montreal, and way up north in the Arctic. :sceptic:

There are many 2010 sets at TRU at Yonge and Eglinton, including 8189 Magma Mech, 3/4 of the Tiny Turbo fold out race tracks, the fireboat, Smash 'n' Grab, and the small creator gas station. There were a few more, but I can't recall which ones.

Do you remember how much the gas station was?

$12.99, but all Creator sets are 20% off at TRU right now. I almost got it, but settled for Magma Mech, Smash 'n' Grab, and Highway Chaos.

Cool. I think I'd go to Zellers instead when they get all the new sets on Tuesday, since there's a sale and it's really close to my house.

Has anybody seen Toy Story sets available?

Like the army men on patrol set?

Yep! They had them at Toy Building Zone, but sold out, and I've seen them at TRU. Zellers also had TONS of them.

I've seen a lot of sets at TRU, but the Army Men set was running a bit low. Zellers should have them now too. BTW, battle pack (including Army Men) prices got jacked up to $15 from $13 :hmpf_bad:
