Did some calling around...series two minifigs are expected in TRU here around the first or second week of August...

Groovy. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for the little guys. I know I'm definitely grabbing a complete set, but I haven't decided whether I want any doubles or not. I certainly don't want to be greedy and ruin any chances of kids getting their hands on the baggies. Guess we will find out soon enough what distribution is like for this series...

Cool. I still have no Series 1 figs though

I don't really care, because I like Series 2 a lot more

Mastermind Toys still have series 1 in stock. They have stores around Toronto and it looks like they still them online too.

Brickset still hasn't got them all on one sheet, but I'm guessing that someone could make one using the barcodes provided by Ras74 and Superkalle.

I could get to do that at some point if no-one else does. :o)

Legorski,

Yabbut...aren't those the EUROPEAN codes? For series one, Brickset had TWO code sheets...one for NA and one for the rest of the world, yes?

Anybody still looking for series 1 collectible mini-figs? There is still a rack full of them at the Mastermind Toy store in Aurora, Ontario for $2.99 each.

That's wierd- Brickset said they were discontinued.

I'm pretty sure discontinued is when TLG doesn't make anymore new ones, and there's no pending shipments of that set left. But sets can still be hidden on a shelf somewhere on clearance :)

I'm still hoping to get a clown and a magician but somehow I don't think I'll be getting to this shop anytime soon. :classic:

It is possible TLG is not making series 1 any more but there are still existing inventory out there. I picked up the Wrestler, Spaceman and Diver to complete my set of 16 today. I got some weird looks from the staff at Mastermind Toys as I was comparing bar codes against the cheat sheet. I wasn't planning to get all 16 but it is easy to spend more than planned with Lego. :classic:

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

The Good - I have more mini-figs.

The Bad - I'm trying to save up for the 8043 Excavator (assuming it'll be available in Canada).

Gotta love Lego. :classic:

I think I got five of each of those! :cry_sad:

The joys of picking them up before knowing about the bar code trick.

S@H now has most of the new Star Wars sets listed.

Canadian Prices: Wampa set is about $55 and Slave 1 is $110. Don't remember the others. LOL

And don't forget...free shipping on orders over $75 is still valid until Sat. Though, from the change in banner, the spaceman magnet is now sold out.

Nice to see they are on S@H. Guess that confirms that they should be hitting stores just about any time.

Small price rant - Ouch! It's one thing to know the prices of pretty much everything beforehand and think they are expensive. But then to actually see those prices attached to the sets for some reason really makes you cringe. The Star Wars prices are really ridiculous, and to make matters worse they are hardly ever on sale.

PS. Don't forget the series 2 of minifigs should be available very soon as well.

Heads up to all Canada LEGO Fans. The 8128 Cad Bane's Speeder is listed at $39.99 CAD. The American retail price is $49.99 USD. I'm pretty sure its another Canadian price error so order it now!

That's pretty funny in a sad sort of way. I was just looking through the new Starwars sets on the site, and thought the only reasonably priced set was Cad Bane's speeder. I probably won't be picking that set up any time soon then if forty bucks isn't the real price.

Yeah, the Star Wars sets almost NEVER go on sale. I check the TRU flyer religiously and when any SW stuff DOES go on sale, it's always a pricey set that I can't afford right then anyway, like 'Home One', or some such thing. $20 off the price of that doesn't really do much for me...especially since I just want it for the figs. LOL

My thoughts exactly.
