blueandwhite Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Minifigs are at the WalMart on Mavis and Britannia in Mississauga. It looked like 2 cases hit the shelves. I managed to get all the rare ones: 3 spartans, 2 Surfers and Pharaohs, and 1 each of Singer, Skiier and Disco dude. They had lots left. When you say you got 'all the rare ones' did you mean that you cleaned the store out or that you bought a few of each. Either way, I managed to pick up a Spartan, a Singer and three Surfers at the Mavis Walmart today. I also scored big at the Erin Mills and Burnamthorpe Walmart. They had six boxes. There are still a bucketload of figures there but when I got there most of the Spartans were already cleaned out. Still, the selection is still very good (or at least it was a few hours ago). Good luck to those who are still searching. Quote
The Legonater Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 The dumb figs still haven't appeared in my local Wal-Marts... however, the TRU was closed when I passed by it, so I might check it soon. Quote
prateek Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Are they supposed to be in the Toy section of Wal-Mart? Quote
The Legonater Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Are they supposed to be in the Toy section of Wal-Mart? Yes. Well, in mine they are. Quote
prateek Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Well, in mine, the boxes are non-existent Quote
lowbike1 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Well, in mine, the boxes are non-existent my local wal-mart had them for less than a week, went back yesterday and they were all gone, no sign of them ever being there, (except of course for the few I hid under a shelf ) Quote

They had everything but I did not see any Spartans as you noticed. I did manage to get a box that wasn't torn up at all as well. A nice add to the collection. Happy Hunting! Quote

prateek Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 It looks like my local Wal-Mart received a huge lot of Clone BPs, because there are more Clone ones than the Hoth ones! They even have their own price tags on the shelf Quote

ZO6 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 At the TRU where I live (Windsor, ON), there is a single copy of the Technic Excavator- can anyone confirm or deny it being available in other Canadian TRU's? I've seen the excavator in a a couple different TRU stores (Newmarket, Dufferin mall). I have yet to find any series 2 minifigures though. I've been checking the TRUs and Walmarts in Newmarket and at the Dufferin Mall a couple of times a week for the past month or so. Quote

My friend applied there so I might be able to get discounts! Never heard of 'Toys R Us Express'...what's so 'express' about it? Oh, and when does it open? Edited September 22, 2010 by Ogre Quote
prateek Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 It's supposed to open Fall 2010, but I don't know if they've even started I think Express means that is is smaller than regular TRUs, which it is. Quote
